Naked dialing on top!

RPG Superstar 2012

Tired badger is tired.

The interview went pretty well. I *think* I'll be getting an offer on Monday, which means my wife and I will have to figure out the logistics, and anther we really want to do this. One likely possibility is that my daughter and I move down to the Atlanta area while my wife and son stay in NC so we (OK...my wife) can sell the house and my son can finish his senior year of high school.

Weekend trips wouldn't be too bad...only 5 hours from ATL to GSO.

Hi, Mairkurion.

By the way, if anything seems like delirious rambling, um, it probably is.

Hey, bud. Don't worry: you've earned it!
Sounds like some good possibilities coming up. Maybe I should apply to the school in GA for the year following next where my friend teaches.
Geez, the boards are slow tonight. I spent several minutes trying to reply.

Because we are all so incredibly self centered that if you don't want to talk about it with me, then it must be about me. At least that's how a lot of our minds work.

All these spoilers are making me paranoid. How will lazy people know what's being said about me?

The site went into sleep mode for a bit. :)

That would be awfully cool if you ended up in Georgia.

The move also dramatically increases my chances of going back to DragonCon, which will make my daughter happy, since she's holding me to the promise I made about bringing her to a major con.

Speaking of which, it's goodnight badger.

See you all tomorrow.

You know, that's just another thing I like about you -- your quaint ways of putting things. I mean, who else would say "my fondest wishes usually fall far short of the truth of your greatness" in that way?

Good night, Dune Badger!

How does Blue's Clues make any sense? Blue talks in a mockery of squeaks. Yet the other animals talk, the mailbox talks, even the soap talks. Yet everyone accepts this as "normal".

I a little better. My wife and I were up kind of late. She got fixated on looking for apartments near the Everett Navy base. Regardless of what happens, it looks like I'll be living up there for some amount of time.

She's very action-oriented, as she puts it. Being able to do the research and put things together helps her cope.

We're trying very hard to look at the positive side of this, so we're focusing on the opportunity to get to know the area better to help us decide if we really do want to live there at the end of and after my Navy career.

If that is a place you would like to be after you muster out, then maybe the forced relocation would give you the op to set a foundation for a good life. And letting Uncle Sam keep you stable during what is normally an uncertain time is just a bonus.

That's definitely a possibility. And we're certainly wonder if this isn't one of those huge SIGNS that life often gives us. We've always been fortunate in that respect.

- The timing of our move to Monterey was perfect, because it put us within immediate reach of the care our daughters needed when they were born.

- Our move to San Diego was not our first choice, but we grew to love it, here.

So, this move may be the exact right thing for us. Still, we can't help but wish for better timing.

As I said, I hate sounding like I'm whining about this. I know people make decisions like this on a regular basis, mostly for financial reasons. It sounds like Taig may be looking at a period of separation, too. I'm glad I can gripe out loud to you guys, though.
