Well, we do suck up some seriously high cost of living to stay in this school district. I know too well from being a problem child myself how few schools are actually set up to deal with them. Depressing but true. But I am very thankful that we have a good school for him. And hopeful that he'll actually get to stay in it, though some weeks that's more in doubt than others. Good luck with your school search. I hope you guys catch a break in that area very soon. It does make a difference.It does help to know that someone knows how I feel. The schools make it seem like he is the first child they have ever encountered like this in all their 30 + years of teaching. I am so relieved you guys found a good school. We are still searching. It makes me so mad too. I had to get a new PC also. It's amazing how it seems karma makes you either fully upgrade or remain behind. :P

He is doing great. He is now between 9 and 9 and a half pounds. He actually slept 5 hours last night was up for an hour and then slept another 4 hours.

Nothing serious but life just seems to being a point of getting/maintaining employment. paying bills. and just moving day to day. I don't have drive, or even any close friends, in both bonding and distance. One of these days I just need to save enough money to move from here. Iowa does truly suck. I need someone to kick me in my ass to get up and get moving and I am not finding that here.I am around and lurking here. My lack of job or anything to do has made me a bit emo. Overall, had a good weekend. My partner's mom came over for Thanksgiving dinner (she brought a turkey breast that she had already cooked, so that made things easy. Then my mom came over for dinner on Friday for some pasta, and last night we had pizza at my partner's brother's house.

Overall, had a good weekend. My partner's mom came over for Thanksgiving dinner (she brought a turkey breast that she had already cooked, so that made things easy. Then my mom came over for dinner on Friday for some pasta, and last night we had pizza at my partner's brother's house.
I'm stressed as all f@#% over grad school applications, but otherwise okay.
Do something less stressful and don't think about them for a couple of hours. It will help.
Shit....aaaand I just dropped the pie in my lap. What a mess. Guess its just coffee....
