Grand Lodge

3 count them, 3 Michael Moorcock books, one map pack slums, one module, one set of cards and what was already mentioned in the blogs. I'm impressed.

Everyone seems to be in good spirits. Had breakfast at the hotel and had a good conversation with some gamers from Australia. (a father and daughter team). They were joined by a friend from here in the states. They were fun to talk to, I hope we get to have a game with them later.

While in line for tickets we were flies on the wall as Lisa was telling Greg Vaughan how she and others can up with the idea of plot twist cards years ago. Apparently an earlier incarnation was called whimsey cards and Dave Arneson was one of the first people to purchase a set. which made than very happy.

Hope I'm not being to intrusive by telling this story. I'm a sucker for any kind of "back in the early days" stories, doesn't really matter what they are about.

The wife and I are resting up for Spire of Nex, Erik Mona's double session game. We're really looking forward to it.
