For those of us playing in it, what are the specific creation rules?

I will be generous and give people 20 points for ability scores. 5th level characters, any Core Rulebook race, you can use the Betas of the APG classes but come with a printout of the class you are using. You can use non-core PFRPG material but must have the sources of all your options with you.

I'll also mention that a few ranks in Climb wouldn't go to waste, and cumbersome bonded animals, like a horse, might get wasted.

Well, I'll just announce here that I am in this game, and I am excited!

I have not decided on a class yet, but I am pretty much open to any.

:D

Forgot to mention, 10,500 gp to spend on equipment, no single item worth more than 5250 gp.

A couple questions came to me while going in circles today at work. Setting? Traits?

Generic fantasy homebrew setting. I'm going to pass on Traits to save myself a step for my Pregens.

I'm thinking of adapting my Council of Thieves character, Bard1/Paladin4 (halfling/ranged). Wouldn't mind doing something entirely different if I step on toes there :)

I'm going with a dwarven monk. Tauros Ironbeard.

Tauros Ironbeard

Let me know if there are any changes you need me to make.

Looks good. Could you just remind me what power charge does? I don't have my Book of Experimental Might on me.

When charging I deal +2d6 damage. Does not multiply on crit.

Works for me.

Wow, sweet!

I think you're including your Maneuver Training in your CMD (is CMB only I believe).

Oh, and remind me I have a potion for you.

Here's Leinad Gaelbraithe (big file size, but it's the format I have).

Doing the math here tells me maneuver training factors into CMD.

It's confusing, but no.

10 Base
+6 BAB,
+2 Str,
+3 Dex,
+1 deflection,
+1 dodge,
+3 monk, (monk's belt bumps this up)
+3 Wis
= 29
I think I was the one who posted "There's an error in the CMD posted!" when that went up :)

Ah, missed the Dodge and Deflection.

Stat's updated.

Holy chanting, a bard-paladin? Tricked out with some very interesting gear. Alongside a dwarf monk. What an interesting party already.

Care to speculate how you two know one another?

Once each year, Tauros gets blazing drunk to honor the memory of his father who died defending the family brewery when a horde of goblins attack their town.

A few years back, he got a little too drunk and Leinad pulled him out of the fire, literally.

Good enough?

Lienad misheard the story (Tauros really was quite drunk), and thought his father died defending his family. He grew quite endeared, as he considers defending one's family the highest sacrifice one can make.

That, plus Tauros rarely steps on Lienad, unlike most of their associates.

I had to trim back the gear a bit, had accumulated three or four low charge wands of fourth-level spells. Would probably strain credulity.

Dude, it's a Con game, the GM would never notice. ;)
