Sturdy: Just a quick question on shifting to P-12; its difficult terrain (the white dots), could you still shift there? If not then pick a different area and target, and repost your "new" attack as well :) Oh and the area you're in is part of the corrupt area, it pretty much starts at the edge of the dirty-looking ground as opposed to the greener grass areas.

Sturdy: No problem, I like to play it straight too, but sometimes, like when the dice falls unevenly, or things happen that may prevent an attack to come off, I'll give a "roll for the new attack" :)
Sturdy's attack misses, but the sheer power of his swing causes the thorn-creature to reel back from the frost eminating from his weapon. Meanwhile the elven woman, her ire drawn to Sturdy, runs up and savagely claws him, sending the goliath's blood everywhere.

Ottar, I advise getting between Sturdy and Rin, because I'm moving.

Sturdy's maul grows into a thorny whip as he steps backwards. He swings at one thorn creature, missing. He then turns his attention to another thorn creature slamming his maul into the Earth trying to urge roots from the tree of life to attack the corrupt plant bodies.
