Games planned for Saturday ACS meetings in Canterbury, Kent, UK

I've just volunteered to GM an introduction game to the Pathfinder Society at the regular ACS Saturday meetings. If it works and there is an interest, then I might do it on a more regular basis (maybe once a month).

I felt I advertise this here for non ACS members as I just joined for this purpose and as I struggled so far finding PFS opportunities in the East Kent area.

The ACS is at the university and has it's own website:

I keep this blog updated with actual dates. First game might even be this week (13th).

I just posted on the boards and will be at Canterbury University on the 13th - 14:00 onwards.

I plan Voices in the Void.

I can't make it but if there's any help I can give then just let me know.

The current plan is:
a) Advertise Pathfinder and hopefully establish some interest
b) Provided there is interest for more than a once off to establish an irregular schedule of maybe a monthly PFS game

Once b) is reached all bets are off. Getting someone local interested to GM as well as play, getting it more regular or maybe even dream of a second table??

I will reach out to you if I think you can help me. Unfortunately I missed the yearly CON of the AGS. This would be a prime opportunity for 2 tables. Next one in approx. 11 1/2 month.

Last Saturday went well. I surely managed to achieve a)

The Pathfinder system wasn't known to the players despite 3 weekly D&D sessions going on right now (2 D&D3.5 and one d&D 4.0) with many other games taking part.

We had five new players who enjoyed the afternoon and all seemed interested to play again. Yes - we only had 2 originally - but we convinced the StarWars GM plus his half table of two players to come to our table. The group took a completely different route and approach to the Dragonmeet group and managed to accomplish the main incentive.

I decided to come back on the 27th and GM again. Earlier as anticipated - but I have to beat the break after Easter. Not yet sure what I will GM.

Maybe Asmodeus Mirage (as this might be my last chance ever GMing/playing this scenario) or Mist of the Mwangi which would fit in to the Void even if in the wrong order.

I'm pretty confident we will have enough players this time straight away. And I hope we will also see the first not-pre-gens. I'm working on that as there aren't any rulesets available so far.

Non-AGS members fom Kent who are interested - just drop me a note. The pleople there were very welcoming and I'm sure you will be as well.
