I loved today's blog video, demonstrating the lethal potential of the dogslicer.

Was Sean the test goblin?

I wish, however, the video did not have sideways moments. Did a retired cameraman from the old Batman series film it?

It's a shame the people at Paizo don't get to have any fun at their jobs.

But the real question is, when will it be in the store? ; )

Yeah, just an endless grind for them in a sterile office, in their fusc suits, with mounds of bland paper passing ever before them. Our souls weep for them.

I second the request. Full size plastic dogslicers would be the perfect gift for Christmas next year.

Only if it is a sharp plastic dogslicer, not some wimpy fake.

:
j/k, of course

Dogslicers like the new nerf swords would be great...

Can't watch the video now, but the stills look shiny.

OK, I went poking around on FB, and apparently that is SKR behind the goblin mask.

They're bringing back the series, chum. This scene from the pilot shows the dastardly Goblin in his lair.

Yeah, someone says Sean, though I thought they were saying John, then again, the accent might just have thrown me, I don't hear very many real Americans everyday. (TV doesn't count because of the mid-atlantic accent thing they do, which ironically makes really americans seem really heavily accented!)

I thought they said, "John," too, but I figured I must be mis-hearing, and they really said Sean. However, given Taig's news, I take it that the actors have bad accents.

It wouldn't be right otherwise.

That was the best Paizo Blog yet. Hoping that was Cosmo. Loved the dance.

It was Sean behind the Goblin mask. Or was that his real face? Only Paizo insiders know the truth!

That would be the result of being pressed into camera duties after only having my iphone for 1 day and shooting my first video with it. I'll make sure any future videos don't have the sideways "flip." :)

He was too busy eating Microsoft corporate.

Nah, the thing's as dull as a piece of cardboard. It just so happens that even a dull-edged plane of heavy metal is pretty good at chopping.

I think that constitutes real world research into goblin technology, and SKR has drawn the conclusion for us all in the last post. I hope that these sorts of experiments become a regular feature of the blog, enriching gaming verisimilitude and exposing us to more employee antics.

In spite of my cinematographic criticism, I think we all own newcomer McCreary a word of thanks, and I give this blog two green thumbs way up.

Surely he would be toasting them on their success with MS Office?

That ought to be in the Golarion cosmology!

I find it quite amusing that you all are questioning whether or not it was Sean. Who else would do that? :o)

The questioning is in the same spirit as the blog itself. Some myths will be confirmed, others busted. For example, do Cosmo and Jason really have shoot-outs at the office? Does Lisa really demand that her workers bear her about the office on a palanquin? Does Sean really have a girlfriend or does he just hire a struggling actress to put in appearances? You get the idea.

NB Some of the above have been confirmed already, some are unlikely to ever be confirmed. All are meant to be amusing. Feel free to make up your own myths about Paizo employees and spread liberally, demanding future myth-busting episodes in the blog.

Ouch.

I heard Christopher Carey doesn't actually exist, he's just an alias of Sutter.

That guy at PaizoCon did a convincing job of playing Christopher Carey. I'm so easily fooled...

It was one of the interns, I bet. Think about it, do you ever see Carey post? Do you ever see him in the company photos?

Hey, it was phrased as a question. It's okay to say anything, as long as it's framed like a question. Then it can become a blog episode.

OK, I don't really want a blog episode on that, I was just stirring the pot. Does that make you feel better, CJ?

Hey, I didn't say anything! Just because you said mean, hurtful things about a guy who rescues drowning puppies and does all sorts of charity work for the sick and homeless doesn't mean you should feel guilty about the vile stuff you said and can now never take back. I'll bet all those horrible, slanderous things you said didn't even affect him. Why, he's probably kicking back and drinking a beer right now. He could be crying in that beer but I doubt it.... mostly.

Anyways, what were talking about? Oh yeah, Carey is a clone!

It amazes me, sometimes, how often it is appropriate to post this video on our messageboards.

You can't prove that people on the boards are weirdos any more than you can prove that Sean didn't create a new account named "Jodi Lane" to convince Mairkurion that Sean has a girlfriend.

I was hoping to come, but am running short on funds...do you think Sean'd let me stay at his place? I hear he saves puppies and things, when not pretending to be a goblin with a girlfriend.

You work for Paizo, get it stickied somewhere. And have CJ's name changed to "Sensitive Jack". Wow, CJ teaching me how to be nice. There's no way I've really sunk that low.

Who told you that? You didn't believe those weak lies spread by Taldorians that *I* had something to do with, did you? Er, you know, in exchange for Sean making sure that Hellknights would end up being the most powerful and broken Prestige Class in the game. Uh... well, I didn't! I swear! Not even when Sean begged on his knees (which happened after he threatened me with his Masterwork Dogslicer).

The possibility that Sean has a (hot) GF and I'm stuck with two exwives and a Rodent is silent testimony to the unfairness of the universe.

I wasn't teaching you to be nice, perish the thought! I was just pointing out what a horrible person you are, that's all.
