If we can't attack the Judge and he can't attack us, I'm thinking of just working our way around each foe in turn and reducing the numbers a bit. I don't trust the Judge not to open the door and unleash many more monsters on us.

No, you can only teleport or be forced to move by a pull, push or slide. Deft strike wouldn't fit into any of those catagories.

Rennik is going to try to escape the grab, which I recall is a standard action - yes? But I don't recall what kind of roll is needed. I'm away for the weekend, so DM, can you make the roll?


Rennik attempts to muscle his way out of the icy hand's embrace 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 but is only able to chip away at one of the fingers.

The ghostly wizard chuckles evilly as the icy hand squeezes Rennik inflicting 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 cold damage.

"Not so powerful now are you gnome" the wizard sneers at Rennik "Now for the rest of you." the wizard takes a step back opens his mouth emitting a terrifying wail exactly like the lesser banshees. The wail washes over Malick, Uriel and Typhus compelling them to run away in fear.

Typhus blows away most of the wizards substance with his radiant blast leaving the ghost a shade of it's former self.

Ragna spits out a quick prayer to the silver flame and charges the nearest banshee striking at it with an Ardent Strike.

The mist of blood floats over to Rennik reforms into the judge and reaches out an begins to siphon off Rennik’s vitality weakening him as the Judge grows stronger.
Attack vs fortitude, 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27, damage = 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 and is weakened and the Judge regains 63HP.
Judges saves = 1d20 ⇒ 18, 1d20 ⇒ 9 take the lower.

Malick's halberd ends the the wizards unlife. As the last whisps of the wizard disappear the ghost's wand clatters to the ground and the icy hand shatters freeing Rennik.

Malick then vaults close enough to aid Rennik to shake off the cold.

The two banshees howl in anger and focus there rage at Malick moving to flank him and claw at him with icy cold black claws.

If that hits, Rennik takes advantage of the judge's dazed state and moves to Q2. If that was a miss, Rennik cautiously shifts to W5.


Uriel rushes towards the judge, jumping on top of one of the benches before dashing at him like a lunatic, spittle and all. He takes a mighty swing at him and rolls swiftly behind the Judge, flanking him with Rennik and continues his assault...

Ragna, you are out of reach for a melee attack at N7. If you charged to R7 you would be able to make a basic melee attack.
