Don't forget that using an AP in sight and sound of Malick brings good benefits. +8 damage to their next attack and if that misses, 8 temp hp as a consolation prize.

Do you know offhand when regeneration kicks in during the combat round? Is it before or after you take actions?


Yes you regained action points and regeneration happens at the begining of your turn at the same time you take any ongoing damage effects.

OK, I went and checked the saves vs ongoing damage for the Beetle and it has not yet saved, so I'm assuming it is still granting CA.
Move to V19 with move action and as part of
Deft Strike(Dagger Ranged)with CA at Long Range, 1d20+16=28 vs Beetle AC
1d4+9+3d8+4=1+9+12+4=26 damage
Stealth Check, 1d20+17=31
to remain hidden if possible. I'm hoping I have partial cover from the Beetle and full cover from everyone else. I'll be first to admit I'm not sure of the Stealth/Hiding rules, so just let me know if you need rolls or if what Flint is attempting is not allowed.

Ongoing damage doesn’t grant CA. The condition that gave you a CA on the beetle last turn ended with Rennick's turn. WF1 is the only one granting CA.

Rethink and repost.

I do need rolls for useing stealth in combat becasue that tells me if the enemy can see you or not. The DC is 25 with +5 per turn.

I'm now bloodied. Very, very bloodied. Also, would someone be kind enough to get into Ruing's face and keep her from doing that again? She's got a 60% chance of hitting our defender's AC with that, and she's not targeting AC.

Typhus steps to S15, gaining concealment, careful to avoid any undue attacks from metal men or metal monstrosities. He looks at ir'Ruing, eying her up and down. "I have decided to terminate my employment with your organization. I no longer feel that it is in my best interests to work for you. Consider this my notice of termination."

Typhus' eyes begin to glow with a strange light. He uses Summons of Khirad on Ruing: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25 vs Will; 2d10 + 8 + 2d6 ⇒ (10, 8) + 8 + (4, 4) = 34 psychic damage and teleport the target to an unoccupied square within 3 sq of me (V12). Sustain Minor: +13 vs Will, on a hit, teleport target to unoccupied square within 3 squares of me. On a miss, effect ends. Range 10, target 1 creature.

And to top off the fun, he spends an Action Point to attack again, using Frigid Darkness on Ruing: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29 vs Fort; 2d8 + 16 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 16 + (2, 6) = 31 cold damage plus 5 ongoing radiant damage (save ends) and target grants combat advantage to all allied until end of my next turn plus -1 penalty to AC. Range 10, target 1 creature. (FEAR)

Finally, I roll 2 saves vs ongoing damage:
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

I'm kinda tied up at the moment with the 2 WF and the slicer, Ragna has a clear path to Ruing, and Typhus is working his magic on your ex-boss. I'm trying to get these metal bastards down for now.

I think we skipped Ragna's initiative. Also, Typhus is after Rennik, but Rennik will delay until after Typhus this round, because I want to see how he did :)

So, we still need to hear from Ragna, and once we have her actions, and we know the results of Typhus's turn, Rennik will take his turn.

Malick's also extremely bloodied, but will hopefully get the chance to sort that out before he drops unconscious. He has an Inspiring Word left which can go to Ferdinand. He'll activate the restorative formula and send the additional 5 temp hp to whoever is most in need and within 5 squares at the time.

Typhus - you used an AP. If you attack hits, it does an additional 8 damage. If it missed, you get 8 temp hp.

Seeing how things pan out before heading towards Ruing. She's going down. She's upset him now.

Technically, the temporary HP is equal to the amount you get, so 27. Uriel, since you're one of the defneders you get the Regenerative Infusion next turn. Malick, I'll toss you my last healing infusion for the fight at the same time, then I'll break out the Vampiric Weapons and we'll be good to go.

Move to AA12. Vanishing Act on Ruing. 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 16 = 23 vs Will. 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 3, 3) + 9 = 17 damage on a hit, and she grants combat advantage to the next ally who attacks her, and she takes -2 to her next attack roll. I am invisible until the start of my next turn.


Ragna scratches the slicer as it retreats.

Ragna charges the source of her frustration only to see her target disappear just as her blade was to hit.
“There was nothing you could do to hurt me in the past what makes you think hurt me now.”
Ruing says from her position behind Ragna.
Furious Dismissal, immediate interrupt, when an enemy enters an adjacent square teleport 5 squares, teleports to V&.

Rennik‘s illusion melts off Ruing’s angered mind.
“I still see you gnome.”
Rennik because Ruing teleported before you moved you can redo your move if you want to.

Typhus targets Ruing new position and misses with summoning but hits her with the frigid darkness.

I would do the same thing even with her where she is now. And I'm still invisible - it's an effect of the power, and is not dependent upon hitting with the attack.

I'm sure that I'm invisible. I can't say for sure what she can and cannot see... Maybe she has an ability that lets her see invisible creatures or something. I'm guessing you want her to be able to see me.

With the penalty for total concealment, the slicer's attack misses Rennik, unless his attack ignores that. If, by some chance, it does ignore concealment, I will use my Shield spell to negate it. Let me know for power-tracking purposes.

Uriel, you did an extra 8 damage because you used an AP. Pity you hit really, the temp hp would have been more immediately useful.

Good to know. If he can stay alive long enough, Malick can probably pin Ruing down, but second wind may be the priority if he's conscious enough to use it.
