*Sigh*, mine is still "Pending"
So's mine. I understand the limits of waiting for shipment, but I honestly wouldn't mind paying the subscription bill and getting the PDFs right off while they take their time to assemble the physical copies to be shipped from the warehouse.
I understand why that isn't a great idea where customer's money is concerned (shipments held up by customs and so forth lead to unhappy people waiting for their physical book which they've paid for...) but with international shipping it's not practical for me to ask for the Bestiary to be shipped separately like some people have. And I'd really like to get my claws on at least the PDF.
The bit which bothers me most is that according to the pending orders list it was estimated my order would be split into 3 boxes to minimize my shipping costs. When it's going to be split anyway, maybe it would be possible to consider shipping what's available and sending the late arrivals in the warehouse in the last box when they finally trickle in. That's probably one of those ideas that's easy to suggest and a total pain to actually implement though.

As usual for subscription shipments like this one for the Bestiary, there are literally thousands and thousands of packages to ship out and they only get out the door one at a time, so somebody has to be first and somebody has to be last. We try to do it as quickly as is feasible, but we are down one warehouse hand this week due to sickness, so it is bad timing in terms of us getting everything out the door really quickly. But, as anybody who has been here for a while knows, Vic, Jeff and myself will be putting long hours in the warehouse to get everything out the door as quickly as possible. Hang in there!

~reads a note hand delivered to me~ Uh oh!
Dear Sharoth,
Your Bestiary, when shipped, will be sent by snail mail to Alaska, then over the Bering Straits and through Russia. After going there, it shall be dropped into a time warp set for the year 3847 AD. Enjoy your Bestiary, when you get it.
Lisa
Of course, you faint away in happiness, now that you got a personal hand note from Lisa. :)

If it weren't for the internet and these wonderful forums, we'd never know that our orders are pending or that some have received their pdfs while others have not. I guess having transparent communication and an active online community can be a double-edged sword.
I've had enough of your reasonable and fair minded attitude!
:D
Though, just for the sake of truth in disclosure, do you have your PDF yet Mark?
And any comment I've made, in this or any other thread, has not been intended to be serious. I abide.

Of course. I can always order another Bestiary.

If it helps any.... when you actually see this Bestiary, you might need to sit down.... or weep at its beauty. The joy of receiving it will definately relieve any pain associated with the anticipation. Reading it will wash away all sorrow, as though it were never there to begin with. The book is that good. Probably magical.

Yep,
But you won't be happy, my Kobold lover in my game was unhappy. Not much changed between 3.5 and 3.P. Pretty much the same.

Guess you just need to dust off the Races of the Dragon book and put together a PF Kobold from that. You could also use the online WotC material for that as well from the 3.5 Web Enhancement Archives

I'm willing to bet it's the Seeker of Secrets book. That won't release for like two weeks. I had Cosmo split it from my order, to get my Bestiary PDF sooner.
Seeker of Secrets should be here next week, so maybe not the two weeks previously quoted. Now, it may be the end of next week and thus closer to two weeks, but now that this week is almost at its end, it probably won't be two weeks from today.

Oh, there are kobolds. Yes, there are. They infested the pages for a while and it was only through some careful extermination that we were able to get them back to their own page.

I know this logically, but it doesn't help being patient. ;-)

Who's stalking who? Perhaps I am using my special ability to see into the future and I am posting JUST BEFORE Sharoth to make him look like a stalker. It is the perfect set up! :)

Oh I know. I peeked at your stat block. ;) I just like teasing Sharoth, since I've actually hung out with him. *raises hands* I know, I know, but there just wasn't anyone else.

I've got my digital copy in my scaly claws. Now back to my lair to look at it from every angle with my fellow koboldic minions and determine how us kobolds can best rule the world. Or at least New Jersey.
You want New Jersey? I don't think anyone's going to fight you for that one. Have fun!

As a poor pleb who is waiting for his order from his FLGS, I have a question about kobolds and the new bestiary:
How does the PFRPG kobold work with the "Classic Monsters Revisited" and "Crown of the Kobold King" bloodlines?

I for one welcome our new Kobold overlords.
...
What? Jersey could benefit from Kobold rule, I think.

This Grouchy Old Fart got his email today at 12:03 pm. I have been printing stat pages for this weekends Second Darkness game. We're in The Armageddon Echo, just starting to take back Celwynvian. Boy, are my players in for a surprise.
I absolutely love the print friendly 1 page per monster format... the PDF is a near must have for GMs.

I will be out of town this weekend, but I will send you an e-mail Tuesday to find out more.

I won't know for certain myself until I'm home in December. </threadjack>
Still looking forward to the Bestiary. Didn't even think about how easy printing will be with the 1-2 page format. Will be helpful for adjusting Shackled City creatures.
Well, like I said, I will send you an e-mail next week.
I too am looking foreward to the Bestiary.
