Announced by Fantasy Flight today!
Anybody else excited about this news?
I've really enjoyed their new LCG format for A Game of Thrones, with it's release predictability and smaller card sets.
The preview here looks to have some interesting mechanics coming up too, with city building and whatnot.
All I can say is cool!

Dumb question... what does LCG stand for?

Dumb question... what does LCG stand for?
Living Card Game.
It's a new collectible format that Fantasy Flight has been working on, where instead of getting random boosters, ala Magic, you buy monthly chapter packs that have a fixed set of cards.
The nice thing about the format is the cost is contained ($10 a month for casual gamers, $30 a month for competitive gamers, on average), and everyone is playing with the same available release of cards. So, it comes down more to strategy than wallet size.

Then it is not collectible?
I hate collectible card games...
No randomness at all? I know exactly what I am getting when I buy the packs?

Collectible yes, random no.
You know exactly what you're getting each time.
Here's FFG's LCG Guide:

Here's a spoiler image for a chapter pack:
Chapter Pack Contents
So each month, a chapter pack comes out that contains a fixed set of 40 cards in a combination of single cards, and "standard cards" of triples.

How is it collectible with out being Random?
Collectible suggests Rare, common cards.. Without that it is not really collectible.. It is just a card game *Which is what I am looking for*
Are some Sets lower print then others? is it harder to get other sets compared to others?
Edit: After reading your link, It is not collectible...I will check it out.

heheh ... ya, I guess it was semantics on my part.
It's a literal acquisition of a collection of cards, without the rare chasing of your traditional CCG.
We've really enjoyed the format, and even without getting into the regular cycle, someone who picks up the core set and a couple of chapter packs can easily have a 'beer and pretzels' card game available to themselves.
