Naah! You've still got plenty of chances to leave even more sick and depraved legacies.

Did someone say "sick"?

Huuuuuurrrrllll!

Fantastic!

The Exchange

I have climbed to the top of the mountian, I have heard the words of creation spoken, I know the meaning, the secret of life...

Spoiler:
Boobs..... to the head.

I share this out of love for my fellow Paizonians.

Almost forgot:

Good luck on your internal move, CH!

Taig was the first to iterate our new position; I was the first to embrace it.

The Exchange

OK... so I'm gonna be looking for a good scanner sometime soon, I hope, I need it for scanning pencil works, so I can stop sitting on my duff and actually try and get it out there, any ideas of what I should be looking at? And please remember, I do have children to feed. ;)

Aren't you a little old to be an infant? You are an adult after all.

Actually, this is cool, because it bodes well for my future in politics or televangelism.

My dad got me an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 Premier...so far, so good. This way, your printer and scanner share the same space.

Any idea how much it cost? And can I hit your dad up for one? ;)

Heh. Honestly, the old man is getting pretty tight these days...I almost didn't get anything.

I do know that HP has been running some big sales, and at one point they were even giving trade in money for your old printer.

The Exchange

Cool, thanks. I 'll check it out and then go from there.

Glad to hear you got that much loot, at least. Must be convenient having a scanner and printer in one device, rather than needing room for two side by side .... or piling them up on top of each other, as I've sometimes been obliged to do.

Yeah, the all-in-one printers are definitely a win on that score. And my office is really more of a library with wall to wall bookshelves, to being able to pile all that stuff up on a little rolling file cabinet is really important. The only negative I've found so far is print smears with highlighter, which drives me nuts.

Hmm. What I thought was a tuft of cat fur sliding along the floor was actually a spider *hopping* across the floor. Of course, none of the cats bothered to try and get it. Stupid cats!

Is the personal pizza at midnight bad for my trying to lose weight?

Yes.

Am I going to eat it anyways?

Yes! :D

True. I was worried things had slowed down a bunch lately. Then there was the full-page sumrf discussion.

Hmmm...maybe instead of smurfing, we should just send Solnes into controversial threads. She seems like a drama-deflector.

Good luck with the interview.

Thank you and Thank you! :D

I agree.

Way past my bedtime. I need to be a responsible adult, I guess. *sigh*

It was OK. I am still dealing with my head cold, which means I want to sleep a bunch. Of course, staying up an hour past when I should be in bed might contribute. :)

RPG Superstar 2012

How about you, Solnes? Do you know when your in-person interview will be?

Maybe...just a little bit. :)

Mommy in me says drink plenty of fluids, and get to bed. Lots of rest. And remember to feed a cold, so eat well.

No problem there--unfortunately. :)

OK. Off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow at some random time.

Day was pretty good. Kid had a good day at school so that is always nice. Work was slow, but not to the point of intolerable boredom, just enough for me to catch up on phone calls. ;)

And it is next week, he is going to call and let me know when everyone who needs to be there is available. Its a grant funded program so there will be a few people that I meet with. But man would this look great on my resume!!

Well, we aren't exactly rich, so knowing will make planning easier, so we'll find out as soon as it knowable :)
