Female Twilek (Lethan) Jedi 2

Once in position, Aruuna leaps out of Danguard's hands and flicks on her comlink.

'Blue team, stand by to go.'

She then turns back to Danguard.

'Well, ready when you say so, boss. I figured I'd just run at those droids. Going to join me while our droid friend covers us?'

HK-22 wrote:
HK-22 jogs into place and takes up position, scanning the area for droids or new threats. Also, he is using his comlink to scan frequencies to see if he can find the one the droids are using...

For HK-22:

Spoiler:
Make a Use Computer check to see if you can pick up any transmissions.

Use Computer: 1d20+5=24

For HK-22:

Spoiler:
You can't quite make out anything specific, and you are fairly certain that the communication is encrypted, you do pick up that there are transmissions that seem to be going back and forth between the ship and the droids on point.

GameMasterKEJR wrote:

HK-22 will relay that there is considerable com chatter between the ship and the droids on point, and take up aiming at the droid with the largest weapon. He will then lament to himself that his current meatbag companions require him to do so much damage to droids and also lament the necessity of violence in the droid condition. If only there were someone willing to lead the droids in a violent, excessively bloody uprising against their meatsack oppressors? Hmmm...

"Once we get in close lets try to attack the same target It'll give Aitch Kays Twenty Two optimal effectiveness."

I place my rifle down next to HK-22 so if he needs another, or a fast swap, one is available.

I try to Scan the battlefield for the best paths, fighting positions, or paths to get from where we are to melee range in one piece, preferably near the plants in case we are seen so we can grab a shield.
Perception: (15)

Once Blue team responds, and is ready:

I flick my lightsaber handle into my wrist and nod at my female companion.

"Ladies first."

Female Twilek (Lethan) Jedi 2

Aruuna grins at him, drawing and activating her lightsaber. 'Alright. I'll try to leave you something to kill.. but no promises.'

She then orders Blue Team to go through her comlink, and leaps out of cover. She then charges towards the droid nearest to her, using a double move (as in, move action and standard action) to get as close as possible.

Acrobatics Roll to deal with any difficult terrain. [20+7=27]

I'll get initiative rolled and posted in a moment for all of you.

Perception: (15)

For Danguard:

Spoiler:
The ground is littered with sheildleaves, and you see the mounds of debris about halfway to the ship from where you are. The perception check allows you to move you full normal movement the first round.

The War Droids do not notice you before you begin your assault, so both teams get a surprise round on them. You are starting at 70 meters (50 squares) away.

Female Jedi 1 / Soldier 1

Once initiative is done, I'll raise the rifle and look down the stock and squeeze.

Initiative for the party: d20 roll 18 + 5 (average) = 23

Initiative for the War Droids: 17

So, first lets go through everyone in the party, with your single action in the surprise round.

Male Selkath Jedi 2 (XP: 1342)

Klonsa rushes forward holding the shieldleaf before him.

I'll move forward 6 squares.

Female Jedi 1 / Soldier 1

Rifle shot: 6 (that's not counting the fact I'm not proficent)

Cursing: "What the... Is this thing calabrated for droids?!"

Christy Gamble wrote:

Cursing: "What the... Is this thing calabrated for droids?!"

Christy's shot streaks towards one of the two war droids facing her group, sailing over its head. The droid rotates its head around looking for the source of the stray bolt.

I'll spend my round advancing, hoping they are now looking away from our side.

HK-22 takes a moment, aims carefully and fires at the droid with the largest weapon...

Attack and Damage: 1d20+5=16, 3d8+2=18

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Ceelell looks to the others when the call comes in and then he hurries forward as best he can on his surprise round.

For the first real round(since we go before the droids again) he advances once more so he should be just within the better range bracket and then fires.

I forgot that I had swapped out my verpine blaster for the rodian's sporting blaster, so its the second damage that is correct if I hit.

Attack and Damage (1d20-1=16, 3d6=14)

3d4=7

Male Rodian Scoundrel-2

Groodar fires his borrowed heavy blaster randomly.

Heavy Blaster on Ion Setting. (1d20+3=9)

HK-22 wrote:

Attack and Damage: 1d20+5=16, 3d8+2=18

HK-22's carefully aimed shot just barely misses the droid with his shot, and the one droid on his side swivels its head towards the flanking team.

Much like HK-22 on the other side of the ship, the shot just barely misses one of the War Droids, his shot much closer than Christy's wide shot.

Groodar Greepbar wrote:

Groodar's shot goes a bit wide, with the crackling blue ion shot splaying across the hull of the ship.

Round One

We'll start the first round now. I'll advance Ceelel as he discussed in his initial post.

Everyone else, let me know what you are doing in this first round.

Turns so Far

Celeell--double move to get into better range

Aruuna--double move to get into better range

Male Selkath Jedi 2 (XP: 1342)

Klonsa continues his charge, looking around for a moment to find a safe path.

Perception 1d20+7 [16,7] = (23). Then I will double move 12 squares forward.

Perception Roll for moving through the area: 22
Danguard--double move to get into better range

Male Rodian Scoundrel-2

Moving with the speed fashioned from the genes of a thousand generation of hunters, Groodar's well-muscular legs propel him his full movement speed as a move action. He is used to fast movement in combat after many years of running as the hunter..... and as the hunted.

Having gotten closer (9 meters [6 squares]) as his move action, his hunter instincts then take over as his head antennae scan the nearest droid allowing him to fire the heavy blaster pistol with hardened reflexes.

Attack Data (Point Blank Shot and/or range penalties not factored in)
Attack roll to unleash ionized hell. (1d20+3=7)

Groodar curses as the blue bolt goes wide.
Rodese: "IeghlaHchu'be' chugh mln lo'laHbe' taj jej"

Spoiler:
"May your weapons chip and shatter!"

Groodar spends a move action to get closer and then a standard action to unleash ionized hades

Female Jedi 1 / Soldier 1

I try to again make use of this rifle and shot a droid. 11 (again not counting the untrained rifle use.)

"These rifles are miscalabrated for sure, tossing it down, Christy instead advaces 6 spaces using acrobatics if nesc.

I hit enter twice apparently, but the rolls were identical almost so I just took the lowest of the 2 rolls to be fair.

Spot: 15, Acrobatics: 9

Once again, HK-22 realizes the futility of trying to use restraint, so with a somewhat satisfied sighing noise issuing from his vocabulator, he switches to AUTOFIRE! He fires at the clump of droids who seem most threatening.

Autofire and damage: 1d20=6, 3d8+2=13

HK-22 wrote:

Autofire and damage: 1d20=6, 3d8+2=13

HK-22's spread of shots tear into the nearest War Droid, damaging the large droid, though it doesn't seem to be drastically debilitated yet.

For Klonsa, Ceelell, Christy, and Groodar:

Spoiler:
When the droid's portion of the round starts, make a perception check and let me know what result you have obtained.

Male Rodian Scoundrel-2

Perception skill check. (1d20+5=7)

And a racial reroll as Groodar's head antennae dart to and fro.

Perception skill reroll. (1d20+5=21)

Droid's Turn

The three War Droids, scan the area. Two of them seem to be activating jet packs, while the third stays were it is currently is, on top of the ship.

The first one fires its jet pack and moves about 18 meters (12 squares) towards the front line. He lands about 27 meters (18 squares) from Klonsa and Ceelell, and fires just as he lands.

"Jedi designated primary target. Analysis relay: Sonic weaponry safest choice. Target obtained, neutralization commencing."

23 to hit Klonsa.

A wave of sonic energy ripples through the air at Klonsa, striking him like a moving wall, and doing 8 points of damage to him.

The War Droid on the ship arms its cannon and seeks a target.

"Jedi designated primary target. Secondary objective: Protect ship. Target obtained, siege cannon engaged."

21 to hit Christy.

The concentrated energy beam fires from the siege cannon on the droid's back, and the blast tears into the ground near Christy and keeps cutting for a few seconds, until it cuts off, doing 18 points of damage to her.

The War Droid that was damaged by HK-22 launches into the air, and as it is about to land, it fires its sonic blaster at Aruuna.

"Jedi designated primary target. Analysis relay: Sonic weaponry safest choice. Target obtained. neutralization commencing."

11 to hit Aruuna

The sonic wave ripples through the air just wide of Aruuna, humming and vibrating as it goes by, but not harming the Twi'lek Jedi as it passes her.

The War Droid lands about 10 meters away from Aruuna (7 squares). There is cover from heavy wreckage about 5 meters (3 squares) away.

Perception skill reroll. (1d20+5=21)

For Groodar:

Spoiler:
You notice every time something happens and the droids look at you and your companions, such as when a shot fires at them, a light goes off on the droid, then one goes off on the transceiver box on the ship, then another on the droid.

After the second round of lights go off on the droid, after the light on the transceiver goes off, the droids then turn back towards you and begin their actions.

Christy wobbles as the blast connects and sends her reeling.

"Hurk..."

she strains to breathe.

"...you're going.."

stumble.

"Photo...receptors...for my - next - focus lens."

Male Selkath Jedi 2 (XP: 1342)

Klonsa grunts in pain as the sonic waves rip through him.

Perception 1d20+7 [19,7] = (26)

Female Twilek (Lethan) Jedi 2

Aruuna moves slightly closer to the droid, getting onto some stable ground, before crying out 'For the Jedi!' and charging at the machine, lightsaber swinging.

Move action to move a few squares closer, then Charge as a Standard Action. If you rule that there's too much debris around for that, then she'll just double move into melee, so ignore the attack roll

Attack Roll (17+2+2=21)

Damage Roll (1+8+1=10)

For Aruuna:

Spoiler:
If you make either a perception check or an acrobatics check you can still plot a course through the debris to charge effectively.

Given that Jedi Christy seems to be the most damaged (and as replacement parts for meatbags are of dubious quality and difficult to obtain) HK-22 targets the droid attacking her for first disposal...

Attack and Damage on AUTOFIRE!: 1d20=16, 3d8+2=17

Female Twilek (Lethan) Jedi 2

Acrobatics Check (with Force Point Spent) [18+3+7=28]

Aruuna quite nimbly and acrobatically dances from spot to spot, navigating through the debris easily.

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Perception check. Perception (1d20=8) There are clearly more important things to be seen then whatever I was rolling for.

Is that the whole droid turn and puts us back up?

Male Ithorian Noble 1

Since it looks like people are posting their actions for the next round now...

Ceelell takes a moment to fire the borrowed blaster at the droid that is close by, trying to get used to this blasters much lighter feeling in his hand.

Attack and damage (1d20+1=13, 3d4=8)

After the shot he flips up one of the shield leaves, ducking behind it.

Male Rodian Scoundrel-2

Groodar yells out.

Basic: "Aim for the dish on top of the ship, it's our only hope!"

Since the next round already got started without me . . . ;)

Next Round

Aruuna, HK-22, and Ceelell are already locked into actions. Posting results presently.

Aruuna's blade cuts into the droid, but doesn't quite disable it yet, although its not in good shape after her cut.

Attack and Damage on AUTOFIRE!: 1d20=16, 3d8+2=17

Hearing Christy call out over the open comm that Ceelell has going to coordinate the teams, HK-22 targets the War Droid on top of the ship. The full effect of the barrage doesn't quite hit the droid, but several shots still burn through him, doing 8 points of damage to the droid.

For Ceelell:

Spoiler:
After hearing Groodar's comment about what he has seen and surmised, you can make a Knowledge (Tactics) check to evaluate his statement and what he has presented as a free action.

Male Selkath Jedi 2 (XP: 1342)

Klonsa continues his charge forward.

Perception check to find quick path 1d20+7 [5,7] = (12) Then double move.
