Another day, another outing... Well not today I feel so bad I was hardly able to move from the bed.
And just between me and you internet peoples, I'm starting to think after 4 1/2 years it's starting to get a bit worse. I've tried to ignore a few things that have happened recently hoping it was something else, but now I don't know.
And of course since I can't afford to go to the ER I'm stuck wondering...

Dude, if you need to go, you need to go. Take advantage of the fact that medical bills don't show up on credit reports.
They made the silly ass system, work it to your advantage.
Best part is, if they try to refuse you treatment, or they give you the run around, after you win your lawsuit, you'll be able to get good care. Heck, if you have a good case after the ER doesn't do it's job, the lawyer will find a doctor to test and treat you on a contingency basis.

I would but money prevents me. "In the city of Clovis if you don't have the insurance or the money on hand the hospital only needs to give sufficent enough medical care for the patient to walk back out the door. If die after that it's no longer our reponsibility."
Their words not mine. Treatment at the hospital means no x-ray, no procedures, mostly a bandaid and a pat on the back. The only time they work on someone is if it's life threatening and then it's only the absolute minimum.

Well today I turned in my job work sheet, and to my surprise I never have to fill another one out again. Apparently the rules governing food stamps/EBT card was changed earlier this year. Now recipents only have to fill out one job sheet, instead of a sheet every month, and are good to recieve their benifits till they're no longer needed.

Gratz on that little bit of good news! I am wishing you all the best and I hope that you feel better soon!

Thanks Sharoth.
To add to my previous post, feel asleep soon after posting. Why is it I can have all the food stamps I want, but the one thing I want, NEED I can't!?
All I'm asking for is some medical help, A CT-Scan at least. I'm not asking for heart or a liver. Somekind of rare organ or blood type. A CT-Scan that's it. ~grumble~
Anyways I have an appointment, over the phone, with Social Security on Wednesday. If all goes well I qualify for SSI and can recieve medical care. But I doubt that'll happen. Can you sense the pessimism in my posts?
If I'm denied though I can apply for General Assistance through the state. Which will help pay or pay for all my medical expences. Depends on the situation of course.
Things I've learned and try to do since I got sick:
It's better to be pessimistic. That way if things go the right way your surprised.
It's better to laugh at the situation, yourself, than cry.
There's a few more, but these are the best.

I am truly sorry for your current condition and situation. I am saddened that you are having such a difficulty getting the care you need, and being stuck in the red tape like you have been. I'm going to be looking into how I might be able to assist a little in that avenue, by whatever means possible. Most likely not at all, but I'll see if I can do anything. On top of that, I will be praying for you.

An I'm done.
My interviewer said he can pretty much guarantee that I'll be denied for Social Security/Disability. The reason being I haven't been working long enough, and that I didn't become sick soon enough.
I got sick in Sept. of 04. So I had to get sick back 02 just have a shot at qualifiing for the program.
He did send my paperwork to Albuquerque for SSI. He says I have a better chance at getting on it. The review process will take 3-6 months though. Here's to hoping I don;t croak between now and then
He did say he hopes I qualify. For me a federal employee tell me that is kinda creepy...
Anyway if I do get on SSI I'll be recieving abouy $600 a month and had MediCare. So here's to hoping

Good afternoon ladies, gentlemen, poodles, and assorted members of the peanut gallery.
I was a bout to get some Z's, but I recieved a few letters today (All from the Social Security Administration). The first one a denial letter for Social Security. Mostly saying as what previous ones have, "Not enough work credits".
The second one forms to file for my SSI. The process after I file them will take 3-6 months to approve or deny.
And last a letter from the SSI saying that on July 6 I have to report to see a doctor for a medical review. Yes, ladies and gents a DOCTOR! After 4 and 1/2 years I get see a doctor. I get a "full" exam from their doctor and if needed x-rays! And the best part... FREE! Absolutely no cost to me!
Just have to make it till July. Of course knowing my luck I'll kick the bucket the day of the exam
