PAIZOCON 2009: How to use this board and F.A.Q.

PaizoCon General Discussion

How to use this board:

1. You MUST talk about PAIZOCON
2. YOU. MUST. TALK. ABOUT. PAIZOCON.
3. One PAIZOCON at a time, folks.
4. If this is your first PAIZOCON, you have to come.

Use this board to talk about organizing rooms, discussing events, planning dinners, etc. Basically, if it deals with PAIZOCON, this is the place for you to do it!

We look forward to seeing 250 of you there!

FAQ Updated: 3/6/09

TICKET FAQ
Q. Wait, I bought tickets, where are they?
A. Your tickets are electronic. Click on "my downloads" and scroll all the way down. You should see confirmation of your e-ticket. You will need to bring photo I.D. to PAIZOCON 2009 to pick up your badge.

Q. Are the tickets transferable?
A. Yes, but you have to notify us who the ticket is being transferred to by June 10th.

Q. I bought two tickets--how do I get my spouse/boyfriend/etc on the other ticket?
A. We'll email ticket purchasers for ticket names in early June--don't sweat it.

GAME MASTER FAQ
Q. I want to volunteer to run Pathfinder Society Organized Play events at PAIZOCON 2009 -- what should I do?
A. Please go ahead and buy your tickets and get your hotel. If you're going to volunteer as a GM at the show, I still have to have you in the maximum ticket count for space reasons. Those who volunteer to GM Pathfinder Society OP, though, will get a healthy reward in the form of credit on paizo.com (that may or may not be used right there at the show to skip shipping).

GENERAL FAQ
Q. Is this the first PAIZOCON?
A. Nope! The first was organized by our awesome community in April 2007. We decided to make it official from now and will hold PAIZOCON (most likely) every June.

Q. Can I bring my kids to PAIZOCON?
A. You can, yes, but they cannot participate in events unless they have a badge. They can always, however, participate in events that you're signed up for but at the event organizer's discretion. (IE, if you're signed up for a Pathfinder Society scenario slot and your group has space and the GM approves it, your kids can play too.)

Q. Will my kids need tickets to the Saturday night Pathfinder RPG Preview Banquet?
A. Yes. Everyone needs a ticket to get in to the banquet. Space is extremely limited.
