For purposes of brevity, I'm not typing out the basic abilities of my classes. My domain secrets were speak with dead (extended), destruction (ectoplasmic), and wail of the banshee (focused). I also had over 75K in spell components in case I needed to revive people from the dead or pull off a miracle.

Also note that when I gained a mythic tier, I took the hierophant path. I gained 4 hp, took Inspired Spell and Reach of Faith for abilities, and my mythic feat was just me taking boring Lightning Reflexes (making my Ref +18).

*Casts animate thread*

I've read the first page of the thread until now.
I am really loving it.
Morag is an awesome character and I love how you reflect her point of view. She's a character that I would have completely loved to play.
I specially loved the interludes that focus a bit more on her but also all the plot with Naathan. It's absolutely great and well developed.
I can tell you had a very good gaming group and a great GM.
I'll tell you more when I continue reading but it's being an interesting read.

By the way, I cannot even pronounce Xarzith'darr but I love the name.

Pronunciation of that name was 'Zar-zith-darr' as I recall. Spelling it was the trick!

I was pronouncing it Shar-zith-dar, so I got close xD

And animating the dead is a big no-no for Morag. Raising the dead is more acceptable, but she does have to put down the undead wherever she goes, including her own thread LOL

I can see how with her background raising the dead would be anathema for her. It's like a total corruption of life and death cycle.
Also I think she fits perfectly into the theme of this campaign. I really like the character.

Morag was the 'straight woman' for the campaign. It was actually the part 2 of a prior campaign I wasn't in. Wait till you get to Sheenosek....

I want to read more! As soon as I have time I'll do it.

I do take some pride in having writing skills; too many other boards have people that barely understand punctuation and capitalization making every single post. That tends to irk me quickly.

+1 to this.

I just cannot read long posts written with no capitalization or punctuation. I make an effort on writing properly and I think not capitalizing or punctuating reflects laziness and lack of effort.

About the story I love how it's going. I like Morag's relationship with Rhiannon and also how she discovers her own past. It is very well written and I am definitely loving your character.

Dheza seems like a cool adition to the party too.

Dheza was a great addition. Sure, we lost all the benefits of a paladin, but we got a more morally ambiguous, politically-active arcane caster who was ambitious. Not to mention know a lot about the local landscape. He was a hoot to have around. The sewer scene was particularly good :)

Yes, I loved that scene too. I have to get into the third page. I'll let you know what I think.
It's being an easy read.

OK, I'm done with page 4 and it has been my favorite one so far.
I love the character development that is done in this part, I love how Melania/Morag's story unfolds, and I love jow you incorporated the music into the story. Both songs are very fitting for Morag indeed and they add a very fitting mood too.

In RoW, Kileanna cannot sing, but she knew another character who is a bard and helped her to put all her feelings into a song as a way to soothe her pain after the woman she loved was burned to death defending her. The song was «Lost» (from Within Temptation) and it reflects the inability of my character to accept other people's death.

I did try a few different things as my whims took me, just to try them out for that particular journal :)

Well, it clearly worked. I am really enjoying it!

That is what's important!

I'll try to finish reading this today, as tomorrow I start a long contract and I'll be more busy and tired. I'll give you my opinion as I am done.

Done! If I knew it was so close to the end I had read it yesterday! It must have been a wonderful campaign to play and I love how you wrote it. As a fun fact... I first read Charity's name as Chastity xD Best name for a succubus ever!

Her sisters names were Faith and Hope as I recall ;)
