This should make more sense come Monday, but feel free to start conjecturing now!

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

::starts setting up the bar and putting the chairs out::

*makes cookies, gets out the mead*

Tunes guitar. Starts singing the obvious Eagles song.

There is teasing, and then there is teasing.

I am half tempted to waylay someone in a parking lot off of Richards Road.

**Looks around thread and wonders why everyone is looking at him like he's crazy**

**Realizes he's in wrong thread, mumbles apology, and shuffles slowly out of thread while dragging his feet**

Mmmm... Mead. ^_^

Oberon reaches into his Bag of Holding and pulls out his 10 gallon mug, looks at Lilith and says, "Fill'er up, please." He then reaches in the Bag and pulls out a lawn chair, sits down and gazes at the stars.

I'm guessing this is the day that the Pathfinder RPG goes to press, which means it is as done as it's ever going to be and the whole office can breathe a collective sigh of relief?

Or a nearly forgotten Norse holiday which involves pigtails, hammers and dwarf tossing?

Can't say for certain, but my alternate ego has been kind of stressed lately. So "we" thought "we" would try to take a breather while "we" can. It might be okay to know what we are takin' it easy from, but really who cares. Everyone needs to just relax sometime.

EDIT: My friend Wicaenwan says that this coming Monday, Feb 2, is Brigid's Day in Paganism. So there is as good a reason to celebrate as any. It is traditionally the day the Sun learns how to light up the sky again. Days have been getting longer in the Northern hemishpere.

Ahem!

Ya gotta be payin' me extra fer that James.

Nah. Wes clearly states that this is the "takin' it easy" UNTHREAD. I think its code that they're takin' it UNeasy. Obviously someone (but probably Cosmo) stuck a "Greyhook sux" sign on Erik Mona's back, and everyones afraid that when he finds it, he's gonna go postal. Probably toss people out in that so called west coast "snow".

Brrr.

**Returns to thread with Scroll of Unsubstantiated Ridiculous Conjecture**

1. The Pathfinder RPG is complete and will be releasing on Monday.
2. You've been bought out by WOTC, and tasked with writing 5th edition for its January 2010 release.
3. US Customs has given notice that "Council of Thieves" sounds vaguely dangerous, and the entire adventure path will be held up for six months - even though it hasn't been sent to the printer yet.
4. There is no number four.
5. Eric Mona Day has been canceled. It will now be know as "Eric Mona Millennium".
6. There's been a major retread of Pathfinder. It will now be released as a diceless Collectible Card Game(CCG).
7. You've landed a major licensing deal for Pathfinder. Coming soon, Pathfinder the video game, Pathfinder the tee-shirt, Pathfinder the coloring book, Pathfinder the flamethrower...the kids love that one...
8. The Pathfinder iconics will be dropped. All future Pathfinder iconics will be represented by well-endowed female tiefling warlocks.
9. After winnings it's Oscar for best actor, Pathfinder will be wrestling Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania.
10. A surprised, flat-footed, 20th level fighter with no equipment managed to defeat a prebuffed, artifact wielding, 20th level wizard. Several messageboard threads exploded as a result.

NOTE: The above post was an attempt at humor, and should not be taken seriously. Before returning to your normal thread, please make sure all carry on luggage has been stowed, your tray table is up, and your seat is in a full and upright position. Do not taunt happy fun ball.

They don't all need to be tieflings, and they shouldn't all be warlocks.

Karl Urban has signed with Paizo to create the Pathfinder the Game the Mini-Series, which debuts summer of 2010 only on Sci-Fi. This will be followed with a soap opera style TV series that Ronald D. Moore will come back and write now that Battlestar Galactica is going off the air.

I think you're right about the uneasiness. What could hurl Paizo into a period of deep unease? Caffeine shortage? A creepy company moved into the building next door and keeps staring at it? Like it's trying to picture Paizo without any skin?

Scarab Sages

I am not sure I want to imagine any of the staff...ahem...'taking it'.

Easily or no.

Well I've driven half my life under the city lights. I'm gonna meet the San Jose Bay.

Workin' hard 'til the sunrise, I've been at it so long.
Got to pack my bags and get me away.

Now come on down, doo doo-yoo doo, takin' it easy.
Come on down, doo doo-yoo doo, everything nice and slow.
Doo doo-yoo doo, takin' it easy. Soon I'll be saying goodbye.

Well those foggy days and nights in San Francisco, got me feelin' so down.
Drivin' cabs for peanuts ain't my idea of livin'. I just got to get away from this town.

Now I'm lookin' for the sunshine, place where I can rest my mind.
Maybe down Mexico way.
There comes a time when for no reason or rhyme,
A man is bound to seek a sunnier day, bound to seek a sunnier day.
Now come on down.

Someone is leaving Paizo?

Edit: Since it is a Unthread... maybe someone is coming back?

Liberty's Edge

Unthread... hmmm...

Perhaps all of our Avatars will now be nekkid people.

Coupling up or marriage is usually considered a happy occasion. Unless it's with the wrong person.

perhaps this is a thread about seeing what people think this is a thread about.

Get's the midget gimp out of the wicker box, excitedly places red ball in mouth while lacing up the leather knots, looks up ingredients for that special ruficolada he learned to make in the back streets of Mexico.

The sandy thri-kreen's antennae wave to and fro in confusion. It makes a clicking sound in its gullet and emits a pheromone stench like sulfur.

"Query: What are thin-shells taking easily? Eat-eat? Shiny thing? Little... he struggles for the right words rodent with good skin with such wearing on thin shell and taste nice?"

"Query: What is 'it'?"

*gets a comfy chair and takes it easy* We needed an un-thread like this already....

Just don't get too easy...leave the threads on.

Liberty's Edge

*leads in half a dozen steam-driven thaumatechnological critters and sets them to serving drinks*

*sits down and resumes tinkering with a setting*

*capers about the assembly playing shrill pan flute rendition of the theme from Titanic until someone pays him enough money to go away*

*hears Titanic's theme and climbs to the top of a lamp post, then screams* I'm king of the wooooooooooooorld!

Notices a stage in the spotlight.

Is that for me? No? I don't care!

Takes the stage

Hey there, everyone! I see we have a lot of strange faces in the crowd today. In fact, that guy over there has seven of them all by himself!

*rimshot*

So, what's with all the crazy talk? Calling people mad? Just because they're too poor to be called excentric? ALl this greed!

You know people have called me mad? ME? MAD? AHAHAHAAHAHAHA! That cracks me up every time. I just have personality. Well, personalities. Not my fault you poor buggers can only afford one each. Plus, I can do group therapy all by myself. And with all the special laws against discrimination around, I can demand several wages and get away with it!

So, the rampart rumour mongering led anywhere yet? I personally think they finally signed the contracts to take over the universe and will be changing a couple of laws.

Those guys saying "gravity's not just a good idea, it's a law", will probably be shut up for good come monday, and that's a great thing. I think it will be more of a guideline. Though the elevator lobby will revolt, I think it's a good idea to just walk up the side of the building. Just wipe your feet, guys.

Anyway, that's just my guess, it can be something completely different. But I don't think so.

So, gotta run (because we can't fly yet!) I'll be here all week.
