Okay lets see what happens now...
A few weeks before the Mourning occurred in Cyre, Aundaire attempted to upset the ties its rival enemy of Thrane has with the other five nations.
Although they cared little for their competing nations for the throne of Galifar they had suffered a great deal of loss over the course of the Last War losing much of their land to Thrane.
To offset the loss of morale they deliberately invited members of the various five nations to attend a semester at their prestdigious university seeking to turn the opinion of the other nations against Thrane even as a member of that nation was invited.
The Thrane delegate however had other plans because he had come into possession of a map detailing the location of long lost Darguun tomb located within Aundaire with information of some ancient secret that could provide him with a promotion from his people if he could secure it and return to his homeland without the famed Aundaire Eyes discovering his plans.
So using an intermediary he has hired a group of adventurers' for the simple purpose of investigating this location and in return for a 50gp purse they get to keep all but one item of their employers' choice, however the trip was hardly uneventful for not only the weather was awful but they came across signs they weren't alone out in the wilderness, but as the foul weather was about to cut loose another rainshower they find the sealed entrance to the tomb.
With either the choice of waiting out the storm in the forest and guaranteed to be left soaking wet and fatigued or finding a way in and maybe getting a fire going before searching the place is where the game begins.

If I can I would like to recycle this character from an PBP that died.
He has so much potential and the setting is Ebberon. In Ebberon monster races are not the enemy, frequently hired on a Denith mercenaries and the rules for bugbears are in the back of the PBH.

Anyway, here is Amarill, Eladrin Warlord.
I still have to work on background, but basically he was a Mercenary in the last war, in charge of a special forces type small combat unit. That was until his unit, indeed his whole battalion was wiped out due to terrible tactics from the commanders up the chain. Now he trusts now authority or chain of command but his own, and so has set out on his own to make whatever living he can.
thanks amarill that totally changes my character with the added hp i didnt really want to take toughness but thought i would of been to squishy if other wise
Hoping the entrance to tomb will provide some shelter, Nadarr will attempt to start a fire out here. I would rather be outside then in, but it is nice to be dry too.

Sorry for the delay been a little off kilter of late, but I've got the basics ready so I'll get the game thread set up and open the introduction.
I 'm pretty sure we lost Nass - Human Rogue and Amarill - Eladrin Warlord. Nass has transformed into a drow and is in another PBP and I saw mevers(Amarill) dropping out of ther PBP's due to lack of time. I'm fine with continuing on with just us 4 as we still cover all the necessary areas.

The game has been pretty slow going since player posting slowed and stopped from some players. I'm hoping it will speed up with some new blood.
I hope so, too. I am used to Rev Rosey's pace. She runs a fast game let me tell you. If you don't post your turn within 24 hrs of the last guy, she DMPCs your char. And does a great job, too. But it really speeds up a PbP game. No waiting for half a week between posts. But I can be patient. we elves are known for our patience, even on Ebberron.
We still playing? I've heard of slow games, but this is redunkulous.
