We are looking to recruit a new player to a long-standing group with vacancies following various moves and relocations. We generally meet every other Sunday, from 4pm to 9pm, at eachothers houses in Worcester, Stourbridge and Rugby on a rotating basis (effectively, the West Midlands). Our RQ campaign is drawing to a close and our next campaign will be 4e. If there is anyone in the area who would be interested in joining us (we are looking for a commitment to join long term) please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks.
Hey Aubrey, just wanted to say I think your a great DM. been following your Eberron campaign, very cool.anyway sorry to post this here, but I didnt want to interrupt the campaign.Good luck.
would love to play PnP with ya but I live in Missouri,USA.
Thanks for bigging up the campaign, Chakka. I will be DM'ing the 4e campaign, if that makes a difference to anyone. And unfortunately, Missouri is a long, long way from Rugby....
Unfortunately it clashes with my regular Sunday game, because I've read your Eberron PbP threads and enjoyed them a lot, and live nearby. I will pass a message on to someone I used to play with but who can't manage the Sunday afternoons we play, but you may be starting too early for him.
OK, Bluenose, thanks for that.
I'm afraid Steve isn't able to commit to a game on Sundays at the moment. Sorry.
Ah well, thanks for letting me know.
How many in your group Aubrey? Do you need to recruit more players, or can you limp along with the crew you've got?
We can limp, but due to outside pressures we can't necessarily all get together at the same time that easily, which limits what we can do when we meet up. Plus 4e seems to assume a party of 5 instead of 4. Why, thinking of commuting over on a fortnightly basis?
I would suggest you try the East Midlands Meetup group. www.meetup.com/East-Midlands-RPG/
They are also tied in with the West Midlands group.
I am in Nottingham so a bit too far I think.
Cheers, Shane. You would obviously be welcome but Nottingham to Stourbridge or Worcester is a long (2 hrs +) journey, as I am sure you are aware. I used to do it from Leicester and it was a big enough journey. Thanks for the tip, though - I will check out the site.

I see - you'd commute to the UK on a fortnightly basis for a 3e game?

No, probably not.
