Got the big deluge today...
Downloaded:
Gods & Magic
Elves of Golarion
Armmageddon Echo
The Dead Are Hungry
Yes.. I got 'em, therefore I suck.
I expected to Shelyn to be good looking (and was not disappointed), and likewise didn't think Sarenrae would be half bad either.. but the Dawnflower is a beautiful lady indeed.
I love the full illustrations of each diety.
Good stuff all around!

Are these available yet in PDF format, I looked and couldn't find them (as PDFs anyway).
Subscribers get access to the pdf's once their products are shipped. They don't go on sale until the products ship to stores.
I really hope mine become available soon! I am FINALLY starting my ROTR campaign, and could desperately use G&M and Elves.
And Watcher: for getting your stuff Way before me, you do suck :D

I do.. but I started ROTRL back in the start of September '07, when there wasn't a darn thing to say about a whole lot of stuff, let alone elves.
You'll forgive me in a few days, when you have it. ;)

I agree with you on Sarenrae, but Shelyn looks fat! I think it's her loose, flowing clothing and the fact that she's leaning forward. I was also disappointed by Calistria's lack of lust-inducement. But the rest of the deities were as good or better than I expected. As for the deity list on the inside front cover? That game me a wikigasm right there. Oh man.
Tons of good stuff in all of these. I have to write reviews for 'em all now, I guess.

I didn't mind Shelyn looking like she had a little, um, thickness . . .
ahem
Calistria did look a little more stern and vengeful than lust inducing, I will agree. Plus I wasn't prepared for the wasp theme to be quite as prevalent.

I got mine as well (at least the downloads...the hard copies are on their way).
I thought the book was well put together and contained decent amounts of fluff/story and crunch.
I would like to see EVEN more detail on all the gods though. More of a Gods of Harn treatment to include the following:
*Church Structure and administration
*Temple hierarchy
*Saints and holy minions
*Role of the church in society
*A bit about the divine residence

It's a bitter sweet arrival...I was on vacation today and had lots of time to immerse myself in all the new material...but now I have to wait a month before I get more!
Pathfinder is worse than crack!

Thanks for the info. Wonder how long it will be until they ship?
Actually, PDFs become available for sale to non-subscribers on the products' retail release date, which, for all of these, is November 12.

For Calistria, we wanted a deity image that covered all three of her aspects, not just Lust. She's not necessarilly the nicest girl in the book, after all.
And as for Shelyn... we wanted her to be voluptuous. I think she actually looks pretty cool; those looking for a thinner sexy gal need go no further than Urgathoa...

Man I'd like to rattle them bones.
What?
Very much looking forward to getting this. Pend faster!
Requisite begging for details: Is there any more information given about what each god was doing during the big throwdown with Rovagug(since Sarenrae, Asmodeus, and Zon-Kuthon's blanks have been filled in already)?

I'm a fan. :) I was converted the moment Sean showed me the concept sketch. (Must remind myself, not the place to go on a rant about the sickness inherent in the American ideal of feminine beauty.) I think it's the navel ring that really did it for me.

I don't think that there's a single one of our gods that I wouldn't call awesome.

No way, I totally would be a devote of Shelyn! Those skin and bones girls - or just bones as the case may be - only exist in magazines.

This sounds more like the stuff included in the individual articles in Pathfinder. All but the divine residence has been covered for 5 deities so far, with 2 more scheduled for each adventure path.

To all those who got the stuff ahead of me, again, I offer a heartfelt BASTARDS! ;-P
Could you start charging cards and availabilising (I think I just invented that word, but you're all free to use it) PDFs as soon as things turn pending?
It's not for me. It's little Timmi here. He's only got one leg, and a bad cough. All he has to look forward to - besides double soup day in the homeless shelter - are those PDFs, since he cannot get the print products without a home.
*sniff* poor Timmi! *weep*
Now see what you've done. The crying made me hungry. Gimme that soup, urchin boy! *takes soup*
The wait for PDFs turned me into an evil person!

I've been on Paizo overload the last week.
I had to cancel my subscription to Pathfinder when I moved, so only just completed CotCT. Well, I came across Shadow in the Sky at a bookstore a week ago, picked it up, then decided that I was doing well enough I could afford to resubscribe, and pick up a couple more subs. I got Children of the Void, Treasure of Chimera Cove, and the first Companion yesterday, now I've just recieved word of shipment of the next set of goodies from Paizo...
OH JOY!
I've got sensory overload! I've got sensory overload! I've got sensory overload!

The part that gets me is the section from Desna's article:
Desna’s only sources of comfort among the deities are Sarenrae, who tends to her wounds after battling the evils of the night, and Shelyn, who ever reinvigorates her spirits and creates new wonders to be explored.
The respective art for Sarenrae and Shelyn doesn't help, either. "Comfort" and "reinvigoration" have so many different meanings. :)

Right there with you. I may be adding two new players to my RotRL campaign next Friday, and these books would do nothing but good things for that.

You know, when I first read that, I though you were insinuating that Zon-Kuthon was now illustrated as "curvaceous". But I read it again after I shoved my digestive tract back into my body via my mouth, and it all makes sense.
Hmm. I may have to make a doodle of that: "Chunky Zon-Kuthon". :P

I'm currently paying for my title stupidity.. My wife gets our AP subscription as she was charter and i get the rest.. all so she can keep that title.. This is fine but she's taunting me with the AP Pdf but still pending for me and the other shiny books.. *sulks*
Yay title *clings to it!*
And I didn't taunt you too much with my shiny, shiny pdf!

Ughh, still pending. I'm looking forward to this book just because of the cool cover. Thanks for the info from those who got their PDF. Making me want this book more and more now. Good job ahead of time Paizo.

I consider Shelyn in good company with other "fat" girls such as Thora Birch, Reese Witherspoon, America Ferrera, Rose McGowan, and Marylin Monroe.
As in, not fat, and quite yummy.

I like having little hints like that. :)

My ordeal continues. Still no PDFs. Local cookie elves keep hammering on my door and demanding the information on their "famous cousins" I promised them, and Rose McGowan's lawyers say that if I call one more time if she won't dress up like a love goddess and make some pictures to send to me, to take the edge off the wait, they'll sue me for all I have and more besides. And, you guess it, Asmodeus isn't here when you need his service as a lawyer. It says on the answering machine that his old number has expired and that the new can be found in a certain book along with his two-page write-up....

I'm dying here! Is the order in which these are shipped random or am I, once again, the victim of a surname that starts with one of the last letters of the alphabet? I'm just curious. This way I can be prepared next time and just lay off the 'check mail' button on my e-mail.
Do bribes help? And if so, who do I send the nice booze to? Cosmo, Teter, the big honcho in the corner office? Inquiring, greedy minds want to know.

Yeah his dealing with the lazy and unfaithful are nice. As is his wishing to smack "golden boy" up side the head for losing his moral compass.
It is sweet to see a Diety who loves the simple life. I also like how his Lawful Good is more like a father dealing with a bunch of kids. Seems so appropriate.

My last names starts with one of the later letters of the alphabet as well, but I was able to download my order when the pending shipment was emailed me.

There's nothing alphabetical in our process.
Avemar, your order hasn't shipped yet because you're holding for a monthly shipment, and we expect to the next Planet Stories book to arrive before the end of the month, so your shipment is waiting on that.
KaeYoss, your order hasn't shipped because it's kind of weird. We process all the common shipments through a largely automated queue that's optimized for volume, while the more unusual shipments go through a manual queue. It turns out that there aren't very many subscribers who have Planet Stories but are set to hold for Pathfinder—most Planet Stories subscribers choose to ship monthly. Thus, the uniqueness of your configuration means you're going through the manual queue. We expect to clear even the manual queue before the end of the week, though.
