Sacred Sneak Attack and "normal" weapon damage qu

Rules Questions

If I am reading this rogue talent correctly, if I am a level 5 rogue and sneak attack an evil outsider with a dagger and roll a "3" on the d4 and add 2 more for strength (or dex if an unchained rogue and dagger is my weapon of choice) those 5 points are considered "normal" damage and the 3d6 rolling, say "11" would be sneak attack damage.

So if the outsider in question has DR 5/evil would do 11 damage, just as if I did not have the rogue talent.

But if the outsider has DR 10/evil I would do 11 damage (counting only the sneak attack damage).

Or would the str bonus (or dex bonus) also "get through" the DR? What if the weapon were magical (or if I had buffs from a friendly spellcaster/bard/etc.)? Would that damage get through the DR too? Or is it only the "raw" sneak attack damage?

Or am I reading the talent wrong and it would count all the damage getting through if the attack was a sneak attack, but the DR being effective if the attack is not a sneak attack?

You ignore alignment based DR of undead or outsiders with your sneak attack.

So, if you have an outsider with DR and your weapon damage would normally only be 5, you would do no damage. If you sneak attack for 5d6 and do 17 points of damage on top of the 5 from your weapon, all of the sneak attack goes through by the 5 weapon damage does nothing. (Weapon damage is strength or dex + weapon damage dice + enhancement bonus).

Really, this is a pretty bad talent unless you're rogue has really pathetic damage per hit.

But if you're playing an unchained rogue, you should regularly have enough weapon damage to get close to beating the DR. Dex mod + weapon enhancement + weapon damage dice. Most creatures don't have more than DR 10.

Thanks!
