I've started editing Salama's character sheet to fit Pathfinder RPG, but I need a character sheet tomorrow and have no chance to get this done until then.
Anyone else edited their character sheet yet?
Already done it for you =)

alpha character sheet
Oh man, that's great! Cheers Tommi, it's looking even better than the last!

Remy Grondin |

Would the creators of the alpha stat sheet mind me pasting them on my yahoo group..with authors name of course.
I adapted one using the Character Sheets we use for our current game. It's a little resembling the WotC sheets, but I've streamlined it so that all the necessary information is on the same page.

Wow very nice. I did one up but yours is much nicer. I think at the next upgrade we'll switch sheets.

That's awesome.. do you have a non-Pathfinder version of that?

RiTz21 |

I have been debating if I should create a version of my Automated Character Sheet [called 'The Only Sheet'] for Pathfinder... I've contacted Paizo about it, but I have not heard anything at this time.
Perhaps it would be wiser to wait a bit.. at least, for a beta version of the rules!

I have the one we're using until THE Conversion… You'll notice the word Card instead of Wt. in it: that's because we're using Item Cards instead of calculating the equipment weight. And even if it's written Pathfinder in the upper right, it's done with the D&D 3.5 rules in mind.
If you really wish, I, could make the cosmetic changes needed to make the sheet more "standard", but it may have to wait until this weekend…

That's absolutely beautiful (and that's saying a lot about a character sheet). Thanks!

Thanks! Glad you enjoy my sheets!
We used it yesterday, and without me pimping them or claiming them to be the dog's danglies they player I was doing characters with exclaimed "Awesome sheets! So small, but still so much space!" =)
I've played with folded A4 sheets since the dawn of time so I'm just happy I finally found one designed for that layout!

That's good to hear =). Have you printed it in color? If so, is it clear enough? I was a bit worried if the color of the background is too heavy...

Remy that sheet is really nice!! Thanks for posting that. Couldn't get the other one to open, said something about saving before opening, then when I did something about external program to open, I deleted that.
(& I just copied off a bunch of a good character sheet that was posted on here a month or so ago, right before the PFrpg announcement was made, oh well, ha ha)
Again thanks!

Salama and Remy, Thanks for your work!
Seconded. Or Thirded. Well, you get the idea.
Remy, I really dig the flavor of your sheet. I think the only thing I would suggest would be to make the gold lettering in the boxes a little darker. That's hard to read. But I really dig the layout and appreciate all your hard work. :)

Remy, nice character sheet, but maybe you could change the colors to something a little darker, like your old sheet.Otherwise, any chance that the fine folks at Paizo are going to come out with a Pathfinder Character sheet in the near future?
They alluded to it on the Tuesday night chat, but not for a bit.

I don't even see why they need to bother. The sheets posted here are awesome and fit a number of different preferences. Thanks for kickin' into the community guys! Y'all make me envious for those kinda skills.
Personally, I wouldn't go so far as to say awesome, but they are pretty decent, and those who took time to do them should be thanked. Me, I prefer something a little more professionally done. Remy's is, in my opinion, the best of the lot, but I prefer darker colors.
What can I say, I'm a picky zombie.

This sheet is really nice. The only thing that irks me at all is the position of the HP area. I'd like it near the top. It looks really nice though and if I can get a group together to do some alpha testing this is the sheet i might just end up using. Good job :).

WoW. Just wanna say a big TY for those beautiful sheets. Now, the only thing I wish for is a formfillable one of those ;-)
Here's formfillable version of my sheet
Pathfinder rpg alpha sheet, fillable
It doesn't calculate anything yet, I'm waiting for next installment of rules before I'm going to code anything...
Also I'm pretty sure you cannot save this in Adobe Acrobat Reader, you need Acrobat professional, or some other program to save it. But you can print it.

That'll do for now, many thanks. ;)

Huh. Lightning Speed. Thanx again. Fillable just serves me well (no need for autocalc - although this would be an additional nice feature)

I know, I know… But where it is right now was the only space left when I crammed everything at the top… May have to rethink the sheets… again! :)

I used the "gold" color as a reminder of the "new" Pathfinder RPG logo, but I admit it's a bit hard to read. May have to darken the color a bit.
As for an official Paizo Character Sheet…
And if I have the time this weekend, I may check the sheet and sprinkle a few editable regions in it.

You can't save it with Acrobat Reader… If you're on Macintosh, try Preview… Dunno if it save editable PDFs though.

Remy.
When I print the sheet in a4, the spaces are very small. Some columns are 3mm to 4mm tall. Everything is very cramped and tight. I like the layout, but could you spread it out a bit more? During a game, things must be easy to read. It is not easy to read smaller text, especially when it is bunched together. Ease of use trumps aesthetic considerations for a tool like a character sheet.
Other things: perhaps with feats and special abilities, you could add a column for page number.
Overall, lovely work. I particularly like the easy workings for each variable, like weapon to hit and armour stuff.
Another suggestion, which will make some of us very happy:
For armour class, have a second line with all the bonuses that don't stack, like luck, divine, alchemical, circumstance, deflection and so on. It is a weak point in the game and we need tools to deal with it.
I am assuming that you are someone who knows how to integrate suggestions and constructive criticism as part of your job. If you are interested in improving what is already near perfect, please give us a bit more space for what we need to write. The simplest fix would be to double the spacing on the second page, put boxes for ammunition under the ranged weapon, freeing up some space on page one to spread the weapons and armour out a bit.
Thank you for your time, skills and generosity.

Thank you for your time, skills and generosity.
Damn! Should've read the thread before doing changes on my Sheets! :)P
Nevertheless, I've done some changes that were already suggested, like the Hit Points being at the top of the sheet and a "checkbox" for trained Skills.
I've created two files: one with the Character Sheets proper, and another with only the magic items checklist (one page male and one female, depending on your Character's gender).
Taliesin, your comments are sensible and well thought of… And as soon as I get another break in my damn-too-busy schedule, I'll look upon what I could do! :)
About the size of the information, I had to juggle a bit with the space I have on a Letter-sized format (8,5” x 11”). I know that some of the information is close to be unreadable, but I surmised those bits of info would be "common knowledge" for all of us gamers and wouldn't need to be big. However, I have to admit it's sometimes just small enough to be annoying! ;)
Have you tried to print the PDF without Page Scaling? Since the Character Sheet was made on a Letter format, I don't know how it would react on A3/A4 formats though.
As for an editable version of the sheets, I've started something, but it's a hell of a job! ;)

I like both Remy's and Salama's sheets. Salama's has a nice touch with the paper and is compact, Remy's holds all relevant information on the front page with a slight expense of visual candy.
I have my own ideas how to improve them, however. Remy's sheet could use less of those dark brown boxes, and dare copy the "hand stroked line" from Salama's sheet to give it a more "Hand crafter feel".
A separate box where you can fill the total Armor Check Penalty would be nice. This applies to both sheets.
In Remy's sheet, the "temporary score" text in the statistics boxes is too light. It wouldn't hurt to make it a bit more darker.
That's all for now.

Thank's for your feedback. I left the basic box for armor out of the sheet, because I think it just duplicates information. But you are right, I should put space for armor check penalty and maybe maximum dexterity bonus.
