Bowen moves right, Chloe moves left.
Will Saves: (1d20-1=12, 1d20-1=13)
Her coler spray takes in the two kobolds at the west end of the line. They fall to the ground unconscious.
The right side of the room has less room to manuever between the wall and the pit and only one of the kobold on that side can reach Bowen with their weapon.
Bowen easily parries the strike. The kobold leader steps over one of his stricken companions and pulls out a three pronged barbed hook attached to a length of chain.
"Flying Talon!" shrieks the kobold warrior in passable common and the strange weapon whizzes through the air towards Chloe.
Flying Talon Attack: (1d20+3=22)
Damage: (1d3=1)
It scratches her, but the scratch burns.
Chloe needs to make a fortitude save.
Sorry guys for not posting sooner. As noted elsewhere I had my two wisdom teeth out on Thursday and between the soreness and the narcotics, I wasn't good for much till this morning.
Rall's up.

Her color spray takes in the two kobolds at the west end of the line. They fall to the ground unconscious.
A pleased expression crosses Chloe's face at the sight of the kobolds laid low. But she meets the eyes of those still standing, knowing they'll need more of Desna's luck to see them through such a surprising battle.
"Flying Talon!" shrieks the kobold warrior in passable common and the strange weapon whizzes through the air towards Chloe....It scratches her, but the scratch burns.
Chloe instinctively dodges the whirling weapon meant for her face. She feels the scratch along her cheek, however, and puts her hand to the burning wound.
Chloe needs to make a fortitude save.

"Why you little..." the sorceress starts, angrily summoning arcane fire to her blade and preparing to close on the vicious kobold.

If there is enough room for me on the side Bowen is on, I will attack one of the kobolds on that side with my longsword. I'm hoping to take out a mook and then circle around to flank the leader.
Rall moves forward and attacks with his longsword but is being a bit careful of the pit.
The Chronicler
Yes there is.
Moving around to the left, Rall tries to close with the kobold warrior twirling the strange claw-like weapon on its chain.
Attack of Opportunity: (1d20+6=18)
Damage: (1d3=1)
The weapon whizzes past Rall as he charges, scratching his arm. Its not much but its enough to throw of Rall's attack and Rall misses.

Assuming there's room to move along the edge of the pit to support Rall...
Chloe chases after the sheriff's deputy to also come alongside the kobold leader and take a swing with her scimitar.
Attack roll... 1d20+2 = 22 to hit +2 more for flanking?
Damage... 1d6+2+1 = 7 hp
Confirm critical threat... 1d20+2 = 12 to hit +2 more for flanking?
Critical damage, if necessary... 1d6+2+1 = 4 hp

We haven't heard from Arla (or Ash) in awhile. On her last post, she prepared her sling. If you want, I can roll for her, assuming there's a kobold she can still target with it. And I assume Ash would get into the mix somewhere, as well, provided the dog can squeeze around the pit.
Arla Kalandras
I have been following the thread - it just wasn't my turn again until the Chronicler updated yesterday ;) Unfortunately, I ended up being out until late yesterday evening.
Slipping a stone into her sling, Arla whirls it around before loosing the projectile at the remaining kobold that is not the leader.
Attack: 1d20+3 = 20, Damage: 1d4+1 = 5
If there is room for Ash, the druid will then signal to the dog to attack the nearest standing kobold.
I don't think there's room for him, so I haven't rolled an attack. If there is, let me know and I'll update with a roll for Ash.
The Chronicler
No room for Ash to attack unless he wants to squeeze by and around Bowen.
Arla's stone smacks the kobold in the head and he staggers for a moment and then falls... right at the pit. Fortunately for him, he is no longer conscious and doesn't even scream on the way down.
The remaining kobold swings his chain once more at Rall.
Attack at Rall: (1d20+6=22)
Damage: (1d3=1)
The claw like attachment once more scratches the deputy but fortunately the poison is already gone. The Kobold moves five feet to his left in order to cut off the number able to attack him, (2, 1 from each side) and possibly leave himself an escape down the rope into the pit.
Chloe "Clover" Verjust
Realising that the melee has now become too thick to safely use her sling, the druid decides that the best action would be to assist her companions. Moving closer to Chloe, Arla then casts Guidance upon her, hoping it will help a little.
Chloe continues to press the attack against the kobold leader.
Attack with guidance... 1d20+2+1 = 18 to hit
Damage with Arcane Strike feat... 1d6+2+1 = 8 hp

Rall, annoyed but not seriously hurt, attempts another attack on the kobold leader. 1d20+3=6, 1d8+2=8
The Chronicler
A sling stone took down the last kobold between Bowen and the leader.
Almost at the same time, Bowen and Chloe rush the remaining kobold on his feet. He looks surprised as he is skewered from two different directions but the surprise does not last long and within seconds he has collapsed to the floor.
Chloe "Clover" Verjust
"Well done..." Chloe pants, trying to catch her breath. Two battles so close to one another obviously take some of the wind out of her. "Is everyone okay?" she asks, "I took a bit of a scratch from that...what did he call it?...'Flying Talon'...?" She picks up the chain-claw and examines it. "Hmmpphh..." she frowns, "Those rat-dogs certainly have a certain ingenuity about them, I'll give them that."
As everyone gathers around once more, Chloe looks for any of the kobold javelins she can retrieve. "Beats just having a scimitar," she shrugs, "If we can ever find my things, I've a shortbow I'd rather put to use. But these will do for now."

Perception check?
There is only one of the flying talon weapons (though I believe Bowen grabbed another of them earlier).
There are four exits from the room. The doors and hallway you entered through, another set of double doors to the west, the pit descending into the earth, and a large tunnel on the eastern wall. A dim glow of fire flickers down the tunnel.
The kobolds have no coin on them but there are a total of 10 javelins, one flying talon, and a dagger on their persons. This is not counting their armor, shields and slings.

Good call.
Two of the kobolds, those hit by the spell, were just playing dead, having woken up in the midst of the party trying to loot them. Bowen, noticing this, manages to dispatch one before it can even defend itself. The other, closer to the double doors to the west, skuttles up and towards the door.
Bowen gets an attack of opportunity. Anyone who beats 19 with their perception check has noticed the kobold's duplicity and may make an attack before it runs out the door.
The Chronicler
Bowen successfully brings the kobold to the ground.
There is a sudden roar, as of fire, from the tunnel to the east. The glow from the tunnel grows brighter and then dies back down, along with the noise.
Kimi, looks down the tunnel with some fright. "The demon's still down there," she whispers, mostly to herself.

Bowen successfully brings the kobold to the ground.
"I can't believe I forgot all about those!" Chloe looks relieved when Bowen wisely dispatches the kobolds. She rubs her temple with the palm of her hand. "It's hard to think down here," she shares, "This whole place is becoming one big blur."
There is a sudden roar, as of fire, from the tunnel to the east. The glow from the tunnel grows brighter and then dies back down, along with the noise....Kimi, looks down the tunnel with some fright. "The demon's still down there," she whispers, mostly to herself.
Chloe looks to the tunnel with no small amount of alarm as well. "That's where we'll find one of the other children," she tells everyone, "And we'll likely need everything we've got to win him back. Is everyone okay? Are we ready for this?"
Arla Kalandras
Arla turns to the tunnel as the noise from the demon roars out from it. She places a hand on her companion's neck, as much to reassure herself as the dog.
"I'm not sure.. I've never come across anything like this before," Arla replies, still looking down the tunnel warily. "..Attacking it dead on could be very dangerous. Is there a good spot we could lure it, perhaps - lead it into an ambush?"
Chloe "Clover" Verjust
"I could use my trick," Rall whispers. "I think it's called Ghost Sound. It might help make him think that someone is coming from somewhere else. Maybe?"
"Hmmmm...actually," Chloe's eyes brighten, "That is a pretty good idea! But not just any sound. What if you made this demon think that another of the children was close by...and crying...or something? Maybe that would draw him out? And, maybe while he chases the rest of us, someone...meaning you, Rall...could sneak in and free the child he captured last time?"
FYI...Chloe is also capable of casting ghost sound multiple times. So, she could pick up where Rall leaves off and continue mimicking the sound to keep the demon's attention.

The map of the room you are in, with exits.
The room is part of the original map if you want to try and place it in a larger context.
Rall Kirnast
Rall looks at Chloe somewhat resentfully, "Yeah. That's what I was thinking. Children crying. Now, let me concentrate. This is complicated stuff."
Rall casts ghost sound of a child crying in the center of the room that we are in.
"Ooops. Not sure that was where we wanted it. We should probably hide."
Arla Kalandras
"Wait, what?" Arla throws a startled look at Rall as he casts the spell right into the middle of their current room. There wasn't much time to think on it though - the druid darts back into the corridor they came from, signalling Ash to follow her quickly and hoping that she will be out of sight of any monster coming around the corner.
Arla will go to K12, with Ash in L12
The Chronicler
As each positions themselves in the room, they hear a faint noise over Rall's crying child spell. It sounds like a hammer striking metal on a forge. It echos very faintly from the tunnel. And it does not seem to be slowing down.
Just as the party thinks that the crying child is not going to work, they hear another noise. Unfortunately it does not come from the tunnel it comes from behind the double doors on the west wall.
The door cracks open a bit and a voice says, "Are you alone child? Did the nasty kobolds leave you here?" Kimi cowers behind Rall, which, he suspects, will not help him hide.
The voice sounds like nails on slate and grinding gravel combined. A curious, hairless face peers into the room, around the door, about two feet off the ground. It sees Chloe and smiles wickedly, revealing pointed teeth.
"Are they juicy and sweet?" it asks delightedly, slobbering just a bit.
"We will find out," responds another voice as the door swings completely open. The figures behind the door, there are four of them, are clad in tatters. Their eyes glow red and they are each hairless. They skulk near the ground, their hands and feet are clawed and dirty and blood stained. They look something like unatural, bestial dwarves, with graying skin, pointed ears and an evil leer.
