i can take the attack of opportunity on the goblin and still run to assist jessa all in the same move right?
I swing at the fleeing goblin:
attack of opportunity (1d20 +7=25)
damage (1d8 +3=5)
and then turn round to see Jessa being attacked and run again into battle.

Right. Though Mitnal gets to move first and might get in your way.
Eugen catches the goblin with a sword swipe to the back of the head and the little thing runs forward for a step before tripping and falling.

Mitnal figures the others can help Jesslara and turns his attention back to the bridge. He scans the bridge for any danger and, if he sees none, will begin to cross.
PERCEPTION: 1d20+5=22
DM Wicht
Mitnal observes that Gyorgy and Jessa and the goblin are between he and the bridge. He also observes Jessa's bird flying back towards them crawing something about "Goblins are coming!"
Mitnal acts first and if he wants, he can run past Gyorgy, Jessa and then the goblin and thus reach the bridge. The goblin will get a free swing.

Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Meanwhile the goblin with the flaming blade lunges again at Jessa. He shrieks in anger and fury but his mindless rage benefits Jessa in that he doesn't actually aim very well and the flames sizzle by her without actually touching her.
Jessa's eyes grow wide as she feels the heat of the blade sweep past her again.
"Ummm...guys?! A little help over here?" she worriedly exclaims.
Her levitating dagger spins and reverses course to slash at the goblin again.
Attack with dagger using hand of the acolyte... 1d20+3 = 21 to hit
Damage... 1d4+2 = 3 hp
P.S. They have free wired internet at my hotel! Cool!

I wasn't sure about the setup.
Mitnal, hearing Blackwing's warning, feels it is most certainly time to cross the bridge before goblins block the other side.
The goblin can have the AoO. Mitnal will act rashly.
DM Wicht
AoO at Mitnal: (1d20+3=18)
Damage: (1d8+2=3)
Mitnal rushes past Gyorgy and Jessa and then past the goblin with the flaming sword. The goblin flicks his fiery blade at Mitnal as the big man rushes past, the fire searing some of Mitnal's arm.
Kenzo proves more helpful to Jessa, as he attempts to deliver a crushing kick. The goblin is nimble however and just dodges the kick. Gyorgy's divine fire strikes only the ground, but Jessa's dagger slices across the goblin's cheek.
Flame Blade Attack at Kenzo: (1d20+3=6)
The goblin shrieks and turns his efforts to slashes fruitlessly at the young monk.
Meanwhile, Mitnal sees a group of goblins approaching the bridge on the other side, mounted on goblin dogs.
"Goblin's," cries the bird helpfully, "Goblins approaching the bridge."

Goblins at the bridge - round 5
Mitnal: Initiative - 21 -8 hp (R13)
Kenzo: Initiative - 21 -1 hp (U13)
Eugen: Initiative - 20 (U14)
Gyorgy: Initiative - 19 (V15)
Jessa: Initiative - 15 (T14)
Goblin Caster: Initiative 14 (T13)
Goblins on Goblin Dogs: Initiative - 14 (G4; G5; G6; H6)
Eugen can make two attacks at the caster if he wants. One for last round (his unused action) and one for this round. Based on the coordinates I posted above, if Jessa moves, she can give Kenzo a flanking position on the goblin caster.
Mitnal
Mitnal moves quickly to cross the bridge and prevent the heroes from getting trapped on the wrong side of it. He lets out a ferocious howl as he crosses, hoping to give the goblins pause.
Taking a double move with his fast movement should give him 80' of movement this round.
Gyorgy Elberion
I really want to be rid of this goblin.
more divine fire (1d20+4=5, 1d6+1=6)
But I am flustered by Mitnal's screaming and blow my shot.

The bridge seems to be holding Mitnal, though it sways crazily from his movements.
We didn't get around to that. Mitnal mentioned it but then the goblins came and he got distracted. I knew a bungee jumper that happened to once ... only once.

Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Jessa tries once more to interpose her dagger between her and the goblin, mentally commanding it to cut the creature again.
Attack with dagger using hand of the acolyte... 1d20+3 = 16 to hit

The combined attacks overwhelm the goblin. His flaming blade goes out and he falls to the earth, bleeding from sword wounds and dagge slices.
Meanwhile Mitnal tries to scare the goblins across the bridge. It gives them a moments pause and when they then continue to approach the barbarian, they do so with trepidation.
DM Wicht
The mounted goblins lost one round of actions. That likely won't happen again.
Mitnal is still on the bridge. The goblins look like they are prepared to keep him there. They look scared but determined. There are after all, four of them and one of him.

Not for long.
Relieved that the goblin spellcaster has finally fallen, Jessa allows her dagger to drift back to her hand as her mind turns to other things.
"Mitnal!" she breathes with alarm as she sees the Shoanti barbarian crossing the bridge on his own to face so many goblins and goblin-dogs. Her hands begin weaving immediately in an effort to equal the odds...at least in the minds of the goblins.
"Trucimagen-broma!"
Casting silent image.
Several more Shoanti barbarians emerge from the thistles behind the party and silently make their way to the bridge to follow Mitnal across. Jessa makes sure to add some gruesome goblin-head trophies dangling from their belts or mounted on their spears.
Basically, it's Jessa's intention to send illusory "backup" to aid Mitnal and give the goblins even further pause. The range on the spell is over 400-feet...so I assume she can send the group of barbarians all the way across. If the goblins interact with them, they're entitled to a saving throw (Will, DC 15), but Jessa will do her best to make them react so she can prolong the illusion as long as possible.
Also, if given a chance, Jessa will probably want to stabilize the dying goblin spellcaster on their side of the bridge. He seems far more important than the typical goblin. So he might be a source of information. Is he beyond saving? Or just in negative hit points?
Gyorgy Elberion
I'll stand next to the bridge and see if I can hit a goblin with my divine fire.
What would I do without this power?
shot over bridge (1d20+4=14, 1d6+1=6)

Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Oops. yeah, you're at the end of the bridge (say, I6)) and can step off if you want.
FYI...it's also Jessa's intention to send the illusory Shoanti barbarians racing across the bridge with surprising speed and agility...and then have them fan out to flank Mitnal. Blackwing will also continue to circle overhead to help Jessa keep an "eye" on things on the far side of the bridge.
Mitnal
Mitnal will fight defensively with his klar and hammer. His 'two-weapon defense' gives him an additonal +1 shield for his klar on top of the +2 to AC for fighting defensively.
Mitnal steps off the bridge and attacks the goblins but with some reservation trying more to buy time than kill goblins.
Mitnal
Mitnal completely whiffs his attacks as he steps off the bridge towards the goblins. But his AC is now 20.
Mitnal shouts the ancient Shoanti rallying cry, "Ollie-ollie-oll-kum-phree!" to encourage those in the party who can cross the bridge to do so.
DM Wicht
Just as Mitnal steps off the bridge, Kenzo and Eugen start to cross.
Gyorgy slams his heavenly fire into one of the goblins, knocking it from its mount.
Suddenly behind Kenzo and Eugen, a squad of warriors moves past them to flank Mitnal.
The goblins, seeing the warriors on the bridge act react initially with glee which quickly turns to bafflement and surprise.
Will Saves: (1d20-1=17, 1d20-1=0, 1d20-1=16)
Will Saves: (1d20+1=6, 1d20+1=15, 1d20+1=17, 1d20+1=5)
The remaining three goblins take the time to dismount and the goblin dogs are urged towards Mitnal, though one seems to be urging his dog to attach the illusionary warriors to Mitnal's sides. This seems to be confusing to the dog.
Mitnal easily blocks the one dog trying to attack him.

Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
As long as the goblins seem perplexed by the illusion, Jessa continues to maintain it...all while safely ensconced on the other side of the bridge.
"Keep picking them off," she encourages Gyorgy, "We've got to give Mitnal, Kenzo, and Eugen all the support we can from here."

Kenzo
DM Wicht
Eugen and Kenzo move up behind and to the side of Mitnal. Jessa manages to squeeze in her illusions to either side of the two men in front. Gyorgy strikes another goblin but does not drop it. Likewise, Kenzo's dagger, though it injures one of the dogs, does little more.
Goblin Dogs Attack Mitnal and Eugen: (1d20=19, 1d20=11, 1d20=2)
The dogs press forward, three of them at least, and try to attack. Though Mitnal is not getting any hits in, he at least is able to fend off the two pressing against him, all fangs and barks. Eugen likewise is able to keep himself from getting bit. The fourth dog, directed by his master, lashes out at one of the illusions.

Mitnal tries one more time to use the hammer and klar defense his uncle taught him.
1d20-1=1, 1d20-3=2, 1d8+2=6, 1d6+2=3
'This isn't working,' he thinks. 'Best to stick with what you know ...'.
He begins to sing a Shoanti song of battle.
"Raise up the hammer,
bring down the klar,
show these bastard Chelish,
what true Shoanti are ..."
Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
As long as one of the goblins and his dog remain occupied by Jessa's illusion, she continues to maintain it, hoping it will even the odds enough for Mitnal, Eugen, and Kenzo to be successful.
"Keep it up!" she encourages Gyorgy, "We've got to help them hold the bridge or we'll never cross by ourselves."

Kenzo can attack the goblin dogs diagonally between the other two men.
Another of the goblins falls to the ground, struck by Gyorgy's fire.
Two of the dogs continue to press their attack against the shoanti barbarian.
Attacking Mitnal: (1d20=19, 1d20=11)
Only Mitnal's focus on his defense keeps the teeth from his skin.
Attacking Eugen: (1d20=11)
Meanwhile the dog attacking Eugen fares no better than his compatriots.
One of the dogs, egged on by his goblin master, continues to try and attack one of the illusions. The other goblin shrieks with delight as the two dogs in front of him growl and snap at Mitnal.
