Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Does Jessa take an action this round? :)
I guess that depends. Did my 6 seconds expire already? ;-P
The goblin was not stunned. Eugen's attack of opportunity barely fazed him. And he is now out of sight in the briars to the north.
"Stop him!" Jessa cries, as she realizes the direction the goblin headed, "He's going to warn the others!"
She continues moving through the area of writhing roots and tangles until she gets to the other side on the path leading to the north.
DM Wicht
Mitnal beats frantically at the flames on his clothing and manages to put them out. The rest of the group more or less tries to discern where the goblin has gone.
The party hears the goblin's voice and realize that he is talking to the goblin dogs.
In the briars - Round 6
Eugen- Initiative: 26 (U14)
Mitnal- Initiative: 23 (T13) -9 hp
Gyorgy - Initiative: 21 (V13) 1/2 speed
Jessa - Initiative: 20 (V16) 1/2 speed
Kenzo - Initiative: 18 (U13)
Goblin - Initiative: 17 (P7) -13 hp
Goblin Dogs - Initiative: 16 (N8, O9, P9, P12, Q11)
Mitnal
Sorry, missed that I had a possible AoO. I was distracted by finding out I was on fire.
Mitnal begins to clear a path through the goblin dogs. He attacks one of the nearest ones with his hammer followed by his klar. He attacks the one in P12.
1d20+3=18, 1d20+1=20, 1d8+2=4, 1d6+2=6
Gyorgy Elberion
Still worked up about using my new magic, I try to negotiate an angle to get the most dogs (and none of us) with a Colour Spray.
DC14 Will Save, 15ft cone
"Wasavalan!" A jet of rainbow colours bursts from my fingers.
Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Jessa follows along as well, carefully tip-toeing through the entanglement area once again.
"Wait for me!" she calls, hurrying along behind everyone.
Once she arrives, she searches for the goblin and quickly casts a charm at him.
"Bedezerine!"
Casting daze (DC 14) in the hopes of slowing him down.
DM Wicht
Eugen moves uncertainly forward until he can better see the Goblin dogs in front of him (R13). He can see two of them (P12, Q11), though he can hear more out of sight, in the darkness ahead. They snarl and strain at their leashes.
Mitnal moves (Q13) and attacks the closest (P12). His weapons slices and crushes the foul smelling animal and it falls to the ground with a whimper.
Gyorgy squeezes next to the thorny wall (R12) and unleashes a color spray at the closest beast, hoping to catch another one in the blast. The spell seems to have no affect on the closest one but the barking beyond grows quieter by one dog.
Will Saves: (1d20+1, 1d20+1=[20, 1], [4, 1])
Jessa moves closer (R14) but she cannot see far enough to see the goblin nor more than one of the goblin dogs.
Kenzo? Eugen can also this round move to Q12 and attack the dog at Q11 if he wants to.
Eugen Enescu

"Bedezerine!"
Casting daze (DC 14) in the hopes of slowing him down.
'Benzedrine?' wonders Mitnal. 'Magic words are weird.'
SUB-Kenzo
Kenzo surges forward to add his own blade to the fight, striking at the nearest goblin dog.
Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 17 to hit, 1d8+1 = 9 hp
DM Wicht
Before the dog can attack Eugen, Kenzo steps forward and cuts it down.
Meanwhile, the party can hear the goblin talking to the goblin dogs even though they cannot see him.
Two of the creatures suddenly bound out of the darkness, their leashes cut. They rush forward at Eugen and Kenzo.
Attacking Eugen, Kenzo: (1d20+2+2=18, 1d20+2+2=13)
Damage: (1d6+3=5)
Kenzo manages to avoid the lunging teeth but Eugen is not so lucky (he takes 5 points of damage and has to make a fortitude save).
Mitnal
Mitnal slices at the nearest goblin dog. Q11, I think. His Warhammer misses wildly but his klar's attack is precise.
1d20+3=4, 1d20+1=21, 1d8+2=5, 1d6+2=8
I'm going to roll again for the confirm fumble for the hammer and the confirm crit for the klar. Damage roll will be for the klar.
Of course. Gotta love it.
DM Wicht
Oops, just noticed I forgot to erase the 1/2 move notations. Too late to change it now. Please disregard that.
Eugen slashes into the goblin dog that bit him (P11).
Mitnal cannot reach the goblin dog at P11. To attack he will have to go around Kenzo to reach the dog at Q11, which I will assume he does.
Mitnal performs a fancy bit of manuevering to roll around Kenzo, avoid the wall of thorns and still twist and bring both his weapons to bare at the goblin dog that attacked Kenzo. He looks quite good doing it and he even manages to strike home with his Klar. Unfortuntely he strains himself and pulls a muscle in his side.
Dexterity Damage: (1d4=4)
Mitnal moves to O12 and takes four points of dexterity damage.
Gyorgy, meanwhile, casts a light spell on the ground some twenty feet ahead. It illuminates the chamber of thorns ahead. The ground of this smelly, musty chamber is coverd with matted, wiry fur. Well gnawed bones lie scattered about the floor and there are a dozen wooden stakes hammered into the ground at various points.
Besides the two goblin dogs attacking Eugen and Kenzo, there is one other goblin dog, lying prone on the ground. The goblin, having fled to the safety of these goblin dogs is somewhat surprised by the sudden light revealing his presence. He snarls as he looks left and right, considering his options.
Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Seeing the goblin dogs rush forward, Jessa once again instinctively produces a mirror image of herself to throw off the animals' attacks if they reach her. Then, with the benefit of Gyorgy's light...and upon seeing the goblin...she stretches out her hand and shouts, "Heladoviga!"
An icy ray springs forth, targeting the goblin, matching his fire with frost.
Ranged touch attack with ray of frost... 1d20+3 = 18 to hit, 1d3 = 3 hp
SUB-Kenzo
Kenzo continues to hack with his sword at the dogs fighting Eugen and Mitnal.
Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 16 to hit, 1d8+1 = 2 hp
DM Wicht
Kenzo strikes down the dog that was trying to attack him. The same one that Mitnal had already injured. This leaves one dog still trying to attack Eugen.
Throwing Fire at Mitnal: (1d20+6=12)
The goblin throws a ball of fire towards Mitnal. The big guy manages to duck nimbly out of the way and the fire hits the wet thorn branches near Mitnal's back and fizzles away.
The goblin snarls and then runs through the thorn wall to the west.
Mitnal
"I think I strained something," Mitnal complains as he stumbles towards the other dog, missing with his warhammer but aiming more accurately with his klar. Mitnal moves into P11 and strikes at the dog in Q11.
Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
"Go, Blackwing!" Jessa urges her familiar, "Warn us if he's coming back...but be sure to hide yourself well!"
Even as the raven takes to the air, Jessa mentally draws her dagger and wills it to strike the goblin dog still attacking Eugen and Mitnal.
Dagger attack using hand of the acolyte... 1d20+3 = 22 to hit, 1d4+2 = 4 hp
Confirm critical threat... 1d20+3 = 16 to hit, 1d4+2 = 4 hp
As the dagger seemingly flies true, Jessa moves closer to her companions, making sure to stay behind them if possible.
Blackwing, Jessa's Familiar
Blackwing flaps into the air, rising as high as he can reasonably go and keep an eye out for the goblin spellcaster and his fire so he can warn everyone.
'That's a pretty neat trick,' the bird thinks to himself as the goblin disappears through the thorns, 'I wonder why Jessa's never done that?'
Gyorgy Elberion
I look keenly about, peering into the bushes after our foe with my hand raised and a slight golden shimmer weaving through my fingers.
ready an action to shoot the goblin with divine fire if he pops up again.
DM Wicht
Mitnal strikes the goblin dog from the side, bringing it low.
Unfortunately, the familiars cannot actually fly that high in here as the damp, thorn covered branches form a ceiling only about ten feet over the heads of the companions.
The goblin can be heard, running westward, yelling the alarm in goblin.
Eugen Enescu
SUB-Kenzo
Kenzo swings once more to aid Eugen.
Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 14 to hit, 1d8+1 = 7 hp
SUB-Kenzo
Just to be clear - what is Kenzo attacking? Eugen missed (as his initiative was first, I applied his miss to the animal attacking him) and then Mitnal laid low the goblin dog attacking Eugen...
I have no idea. I thought we still had a goblin dog left. Wasn't there one that was 'sleeping' or lying on the ground or something? If not, I suppose Kenzo sheathes his sword and prepares to defend or lead the group out of harm's way.

There is one on the ground and Kenzo can move and slay it if he desires... let's assume he does. I just wanted to be sure as you were suggesting his action was to aid Eugen.
DM Wicht
Blackwing flutters around near the ceiling of the 'chamber.'
The fleeing goblin can be heard shouting out orders to someone. One gets the feeling that more foes could soon be on their way.
In the briars - Round 9
Eugen- Initiative: 26 (Q12) -5 hp
Mitnal- Initiative: 23 (P11) -9 hp; -4 dexterity
Gyorgy - Initiative: 21 (R12)
Jessa - Initiative: 20 (R14)
Kenzo - Initiative: 18 (P9)
Goblin - Initiative: 17 (??)
I'm keeping actions in rounds at the moment to emphasize the fact that you don't have a lot of time for planning and such.

I turn to Mitnal with a deep bow; "May I?"
Then I give a self-mocking grin and use my divine fire to heal his wounds.
divine fire to heal Mitnal (1d6+1=6)
Jeslara "Jessa" Eventide
Jessa calls Blackwing back to her.
"Silly bird," she chides him, "There's no way out of these thickets up there."
She looks around at the others and then back the way they came. "He's clearly gone for more reinforcements. Maybe we should get moving?" Jessa recommends, "The shore can't be far. Let's go back where we met him and see if we can go north like we intended before that cat came along."

Jessa looks over her shoulder at the Shoanti barbarian. "You mean stay here and wait for him to bring the goblins to us? I suppose that's one way to draw them out. But if Nualia has hundreds of goblins ready to raze Sandpoint, I don't think we can expect to stand against that many when we're so few."
She shakes her head. "No, it's better to keep moving. Especially if that one's gone to raise the alarm." She examines the thistles once more. "I just wish we could stop him. But I don't know how he moves through these tangles so easily. There doesn't appear to be any more of those doors like we found earlier. If he tries to accost us again, maybe we should try and tackle him...and hold him down...before he can get away again?"
DM Wicht
Gyorgy heals Mitnal of some of his hurt. Meanwhile Mitnal begins to argue with Jessa and Eugen starts towards the northward passage as Jessa had suggested.
All suddenly goes quiet to the west as the goblin stops yelling.

With Eugen leading the way, the party crawls through the thorn tunnels northward. After twenty feet, Eugen sees light ahead. Another ten feet and he can see the opening. Finally, ten feet further on, Eugen leads his companions to an opening in the thorny walls and the edge of a cliff.
The ocean churns against the base of the cliff some eighty feet or so below.
There is a rope bridge here, about sixty feet in length. The other side of the bridge is attached to a roundish, flat topped island to the north. Thick patches of vegetations, nettles and briars, grow here and there atop the island, but the most impressive feature of the island is a wooden one story stockade. Two thirty foot tall watch towers guard the stockades southern flank, the side facing the bridge.
The rope bridge is made of hairy rope and thick wooden flanks. It creaks and sways in the wind coming off the ocean.
Vague sounds coming from behind and to the west of the companions suggest a large number of goblins trying to unsuccessfully rush stealthily through the briar tunnels.
