Clive,

I'm at home, and am unable to check your details, but assuming you're in the US, yes, as a Charter + Modules subscriber, you probably should have been processed by now. Have you checked to see if the PDFs are already in your assets?

If so, you might want to make sure you don't have an overactive spam filter somewhere.

If not, we'll check into it tomorrow morning to see what's up.

Yes, it's definitely not there. Thanks for the reply, I'll struggle through the night looking forward to tomorrow then.

Just downloaded it at 8:45 CST. No problems at all.

Just thought you might want to know.

Actually, that is kind of the problem, but from a different point of view. There are thousands upon thousands of you that have given us exactly that authority, and we can't fulfill them all simultaneously or instantaneously. You're in line along with all of the other subscribers, and we're fulfilling them in the order that will let us fulfill the most people fastest.

As for people getting print copies at Gen Con, well, while we had hoped to deliver subscriber PDFs and at least mail subscriber copies out before Gen Con, we had also long since planned for that show to be the debut of the print edition. And frankly, it's not just a plan—it's a business necessity. You might notice that our entire industry plans our product releases and our news releases around Gen Con, for many, many different reasons; if a product misses Gen Con, the opportunity cost could be the difference between a product's success and failure. (I can also tell you that Gen Con did not delay processing a single subscriber copy.)

If you want Pathfinder to succeed—and as subscribers, you've already said you do—then you need to support the fact that we made it as big a deal as we could in front of the largest possible audience at the most important event in the industry.

The bottom line is that we did our best to get these things done before Gen Con, and we missed by a little less than a week—but not through lack of effort. If you want to fault us for that, go right ahead, but we felt it was important to get it done right, not just get it done fast.

A an international subscriber, I still haven't got my PDF, but I'm with Paizo all the way and appreciate all the effort that went into this. My patience hasn't quite run out yet.

Just got mine. They are on the way it seems.
Hang in just a bit longer guys.

I do not have Pathfinder #1 available as a pdf either.

Hey Clive, I think if you signed up for Gamemastery Modules in the last week (since the intended ship date of Pathfinder #1), the Module gets bundled with #2. That is the case for myself signing up today at least. If so, you'd be in the big group with the rest of us.

Just a thought in case that's your situation, or for anyone else.

I was wondering if it would be something like that. I subscribed for GameMastery on August 12, but that might have been close enough to the cutoff date to put me in the other group.

I guess I'll just wait and see.

It would appear that New Zealand has fallen into the Dark Ages again. I live in the most distant time zone imaginable and have been a PF Charter subscriber since April and the PDF still hasn't arrived.
For those of you who have the luxury of having already received the PDF ... spare me not another thought.

Thanks for the support.

Yours is probably arriving via wombat and the Nullarbor and mine's being flown in by kiwi.

Here's hoping international subscriptions are processed in alphabetical order by country!

Suck it, Austria!

Seriously, though, guys, I'm happy to get my PDF whenever it's available. I know you must be exhausted after scrambling to get everything finished. I appreciate all the effort you're going to.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I have subscriptions to both Pathfinder and Gamemastery Modules, with the Gamemastery Modules held to ship with Pathfinder. Well, it says that after my name, but anyway I'm located in Baltimore. That's Baltimore, Maryland. In the United States. Of America. North America.

I am also in the US, I am a Charter Subscriber and a Modules Subscriber, my account says that D2 is shipping with P1, but I have not recieved an email, and they are not available under my downloads.

I also never recieved the email letting me know that they would be shipping soon.

Hey Vic Quick question..... Pathfinder still has not processed and I do not have access to the PDF, Do you guys process APOs as international? I hope not since it isn't an international address :-p...

*Waiting for his PDF impatiantly, patiantly*

Any guess as to when the PDF's will be processed for us down under. I'd just like to have a magazine by tomorrow. Keeping faith, going to bed, and hoping that my loyalty will be rewarded by tomorrow.
*sleepily* Good work, Paizo

Nah, I'm in Victoria, BC in Canada, which is about a fifteen minute flight from Seattle, and I still don't have mine. :) I'm sure they're getting to us all as quickly as they can without discriminating according to time zones or anything like that.

Let me add my thanks to Gary for pulling this off. Excellent work!

Also thanks to Vic - you continue to show just how open Paizo is with its customers. I don't think I have ever seen any company explain in detail the order they send stuff out in just to keep their customers happy.

As usual, make mine Paizo!

Liberty's Edge

Yesterday was ike "Presents from Paizo" day. My order for Hollow's Last Hope and Crown of the Kobold King showed up before I left to go hang out with friends, and when I got home the PDF for Burnt Offerings was ready for download. What a great day. :)

Thanks, Gary. Hope you get your vacation, now.

So now the Charter subscribers that don't also have a GameMastery sub have theirs.

Somehow, I got skipped during the Charter and Modules phase.

Still no PDF for me. I have been a charter subscriber since April 26. This sucks.

For some reason your Players Guide didn't have a shipping address attached, so the system didn't print a label for you. I'm looking to see if anybody else is in a similar situation; if they are, I'll fix them and get the labels run ASAP.

Ah. Your order has the same problem as Ungoded's.

Silver Crusade

I have no access to the pdf either.

Hey Gary, I think I might be in the same boat. Charter Subscriber/GameMastery Subscriber (though the latter was only as of last week) located in Florida and I've not gotten the golden email or see the pdf available in My Downloads. I hope this helps narrow down the problem and all your efforts are greatly appreciated!

I have no PDF either, but I think that's because I'm in Canada.

Let us know when you've completed this task. I have not seen any sign of my order either and will wait for you to correct this shipping address issue before worrying further.

Thanks!

Grr. Looks like around 150 orders have this problem. I've written some code to fix it, but since it will be a robot directly manipulating orders, I'm going to have to grab a current copy of our database so I can properly test it.

This fix may take a couple of hours to complete.

So...I should stop checking My Downloads every 2 minutes then?

Just curious. Will I get a free PLAYER'S GUIDE with my subscription?
It doesn't show up on my order eventhough I preordered Pathfinder.
I asked this question to customer servive several days ago, but , no answer...

The free Player's Guide is just for "Charter" Subscribers - those of us who signed up for an on-going month-to-month subscription (not just the transition issues from Dungeon/Dragon) before August 13th.

Yeah, we foreigners have to wait "a few days". I expect we'll get it by the end of the week, though. :)

well, mine must be coming by Condor flight and got caught in some of the Andes crosswinds :D

Paizo has never failed me in delivering my stuff, it only has tried my patience :D I can wait.

Ahhh...just read the FAQ; I recently changed my address from Alaska to an APO--I forgot all about the customs form, but now I understand the delay. Sorry for bugging, guys. :-)

exactly 2 hours after this reply, i get the e-mail notification that it was ready for download. Thanks for the hard work and quick reply!

Phazzar wrote:

Yeah same for me here in France. Still waiting but I'm quite sure everything will end fine.

BTW totally different problem, I ordered D1 via Amazon and they just send me an apology telling me they won't be able to deliver it before February 2008 o_O I'm on the verge of cancelling the order but would that mean D1 is already out of print ? (which is good for Paizo)

Bran

Got mine now. Thanks a bunch guys.

Now time to spend the rest of the day reading.

!Yay!

Still waiting ...

and another hour ...

Just for the record, i have neither received a shipping email, nor the pdf. Going to bed now, though, maybe i have a happy surprise when i wake up. :)

Still nothing for me... waking up to an empty downloads page again...ugh.

As I just mentioned on a different thread. I finally did receive my e-mail with the link to the PDF, except that the links on that page don't work. They just take me to the catalog page. So I still don't have access to the file. How common is this problem? :(

::edit...actually, the links take me to the Paizo Blog page::

I think that wandering wombat's been spit-roasted for the barbie and my kiwi has had a nasty accident with an Orcinus orca.
