The rules and optional rules are shown in the example cards. On a natural "1", you would have to re-roll the attach and if that attack misses, it is a critical fumble. One of the optional rules is that you can only critical fumble once per combat. I assume that is there to prevent the characters from killing themselves.

I considered "confirming" fumbles, but we decided that it is easier to make a BAD mistake than it is to have an awesome success ie. Crit Hit. So now a 1 results in a card. Even though this has resulted in some SERIOUSLY injured characters, it has added a great measure of chaotic fun. I have also limited "non-character" foes from drawing Crit Hit cards, but everyone suffers Crit Fumbles. So far everyone is pleased.

We play Savage Tide with the rule that a 1 rerolls to confirm the fumble, and I once fumbled on both of my attacks, dealing damage to myself twice (once with a magic weapon) and to top it all off I am in the category of my favored enemy, so I did extra damage from that. Dropped myself from well over 10hp to close to dead in one round.

We play with the rule that if you fumble, you lose all subsequent attacks that round. So there would be no potential for this to happen. This rule has "robbed" each of us at higher levels, but it conveys the severity of mistakes in combat.

I use this in conjunction with the Critical Hit Deck in my campaign. I like the results - fun stuff.

When are they back expected in?

We haven't found a time in our busy schedule to reprint it yet, but will try to get to it this year. Stay tuned!

Both my group and myself are impressed with this product, so much so, that one of them wants one of his own... bad news for his players (heh , heh, heh)

Is there a date on when (or if ) you are getting another printing done on this?

Any chance of a pre ORIGINS reprinting? (please ,please)

Are there two different Critical Fumble Decks ? I see one with the bloddy monster head and the other with the bloody d20. What's the difference?

A quick gewgle img search shows you what I mean. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=critical+fumble+ deck&gbv=2&aq=f&oq=

The one with the bloddy monster head is the critical hit deck. This one is the critical miss deck....

Read the text on the images. There are clearly boxes with the monster head that say Fumble.

Ah, those...

That was a placeholder image before the real one was posted.

The boxes have the d20 on them.

I am not seeing what you are referring to. All I see is the box with the bloody D20.

Franz; thank you for the clarification!

Any updates on expected delivery? From what it looks like the dates keep getting pushed further, and the most recent update says "sometime this year"

We haven't even scheduled the reprint yet so it's at least 8-12 weeks away. I'd hope to have them back in stock for GenCon Indy but we haven't decided yet.

Your loyal fans await the news of their immitable doom. (GM'S) perspective)

Mass Fumble. Very nice

Any new updates? I don't want to place an order until they're printed.

Same here, once I introduced both decks to my group, we never looked back and have kept using them ever since... and in the games to come! ;)

I also plan to snag another of each once they are released again!

It is being reprinted right now. We expect it to be back in stock by the end of July.

Excellent! I'll have to look into budgeting in another copy of both decks once these are reprinted.

I'm finding that I need an at home set and a travel set.

Looks like the last ETA was end of July on this. Just curious to see how close these are to being released?

I am pretty sure I saw it at Gencon on their racks.

So I am sure they well get it up as soon as they are done with the moving. My unoffical answer of course. :O)
