Heres the setlists! Unfortunately James LaBrie opened with "How we doin, Houst....DALLAS?!?!?!" and had to fight to get the crowd back all night. During the AWESOME instrumental parts of the songs, he went back behind Petruccis amp stack and was pounding down I think beer. It was in glasses and brown, but not cola brown...coulda been tea?
Probably drank 4-5 big full glasses.

They almost did a second encore but there was an 1100 curfew (so the
forums say...though the setlist from Houston doesnt show a second
encore either even after they changed Brighter than a thousand suns
for Wrathchild, which is way shorter...maybe later in the tour as they
fine tune it). Sent us out to the tune of "Always Look on the Bright
Side of Life"!! Only Dio tribute thing was a couple people were wearing
Dio/Sabbath shirts and they played "Rainbow in the Dark" between the
bands...oh did the yelling and devil horns commence! Adrian messed up
the cool picking part of Paschendale a bit (and he knew it...giving
the come-see-come-sa hand thing at the end when they bowed for the
crowd) and there was a song where Bruce was way ahead of the band
(cant remember which one, but he was out beyond the monitors and
couldnt hear). Also the last three songs from about BNW to IM, they
had Daves guitar turned up louder than either of the other guys', so
that was different. I actually like Dave the best, so sue me...

Bruce and 'Arry did NOT STOP MOVING, they were acting like they were
in their 20s/30s! Harris wore a shirt that said "Whale Oil Beef
Hooked", and I thought the last word was hooker. Thought it has to do
with the BP oil catastrophe. Had to google it but it means "Well, I'll
Be F***ed!" if you say it altogether fast. Also Bruce had a bit about
how the UK was going to kick our arse in World Cup! Oh and the intro
to "No More Lies", Bruce says something like "you know...the checks in
the mail....I promise not to c*m in yer mouth...NO MORE LIES!!!"

Lucky bastard! That's a pretty solid setlist, even with mostly new material. While I would have preferred "The Clansman" and "Dance Of Death" to "Blood Brothers" and "No More Lies" and "The Rainmaker" to "Wildest Dreams", you can't please everybody all the time. No "Run To The Hills"? Maiden has so many good songs I sometimes wish they'd retire "Running Free" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name" and play something else instead.

Looks like I'm going to have to go to Phoenix on June 17!
