this is a campaing created in the world of azeroth (the implied setting of all the warcraft history). before we get to historytelling, we will highlight some points for better understanding.
the world is a violent place, were the mortal races battle each other for generations, and great pacts have been formed between these races. the more civilized, chivalric faction is called ""the alliance"", formed by the humans, the dwarves, high elves, night elves and gnomes. they are very well known for great valor and heroic deeds in times of peril, but in the actual campaing time they suffer from internal political conflicts and racial disparieties.
on the other hand is ""the horde"", formed by the orcs, jungle trolls, tauren, blood elves and the forsaken. the more primitive cultures,orcs,trolls and tauren, are known for having great warriors honor and strong tribal traditions that makes them a strong group. all acknowledge the leadership of thrall, the orc warchief, who has led the horde to a state of peace and wellfare.their problems mostly come from the constant skirmishes between the forsaken(who are undead humans) and the alliance races, as well as the new allies, the blood elves, who are a vicious bunch of spellcasters addicted to arcane magic, that know no limits in their search for power.
right now, theres not an open war between the factions, but great treats lie in the shadows. the remanents of the burning legion(demons of great arcane power that tried to conquer the whole world and drain it of all its powers) and the undead sourge(a massive army of undead of all sorts and powers, led by the lich king, an evil tyrant of almost unimaginable power) are the greatest threats to the almost unexisting peace of the mortals.
the heroes are all memebers of the glorious horde, except for one freelancer, a night elf renegade that abandoned her culture.
each of the players are invited to best describe their characters, and speak of their past and goals, these are the heroes(or antiheroes, for most are of evil nature....hehehhe)
