I like the idea of a frenzied berserker who has levels in the bloodstorm prestige class. That has the potential to be pretty messy. Would look pretty cool.

I don't remember what it was, but I know I saw a movie in which a thrown ax or sword tried to hunt down the people in the room in was thrown into. That is almost exactly how I see the Bloodstorm thing going down.

But what about Shadow Hand and White Raven?
White Raven could date back to the Knight Protectors of the Great Kingdom. Their brave charges and fierce war cries inspired their troops to levels of bravado unseen on modern battlefields for centuries.
Maybe the yakfolk came up with the white raven.
Crazy yakfolk in their hidden mountain valley.
And then they taught it to the Knight Protectors.
And maybe some of those Death Knights got some White Raven skills.
Actually the yakfolk practice a martial discipline called the "Scourge of the Four Mountains". It combines their size, strength, astetics and domineering personalities into one destructive martial arts form.

Unfortunately, getting aforementioned Tome of Battle will be harder than before - the local FLGS has all but stopped getting new RPG books in his store and seems to be clearly focused on card and board games. Sad, really. The only thing on the shelves are d20 books - no non-WotC d20, no GURPS, no Palladium, only a little White Wolf. Really really sad.
I should just open up my own damn shop and call it good. :P

The whole moons & tides things got me thinking. If the moons were each the same size as our moon, then the tides and erosive effects would be much greater. If together they were the same size as our moon, then I doubt they would have any different effect.
Makes me wonder about Eberron's twelve moons. :)
Interesting point. I bet there is a Dragon Article in there for anyone willing to do the leg work of researching tides and creating some kind of a model for how tides would work with more moons. Even the two moons of Greyhawk should have a pretty impressive impact presuming they are of the same size and density as earths.
I've got a player playing a crusader in the upcoming first session. Sure, they are meat shields, capable of healing and attacking simultaneously. I love the book. Though there could be a few more monsters, I understand as it has nine legacy weapons! Still, martial adepts are--mostly--going to feel the burn as ranged attacks become commonplace.
It's like a parable I generally relate to my players. Who's stronger: one archer or four fighters with greatswords. It all depends on the terrain, distance, visibility, etc. If the archer is positioned on top of a plateau, overlooking a chasm that the four fighters are travelling through, then the archer is likely more powerful, considering he could get the ranged advantage more easily, hide more easily, etc. You see the point. The same applies for other ranged combatants. A group of warblades are just asking for fireballs at long-ranged combat.
My player actually just sent it to me a few days ago. He's a half-orc crusader of Pelor, grew up in Sunrise, and has significant penalties to Int and Cha--should be a challenge for a crusader, IMO.
Fairly by-the-book backstory, but I'm hoping my player will allow me to suggest a few additions that might add some weight to it, including being an orphan, parents killed by bullywugs, having a sister skilled in trapmaking, being raised on one of the nearby plantations with a generous keeper, believing he saved his loved ones from a wraith-like entity, while suffering from heatstroke in the midst of a hot day at work, hallucinating as he recovered and believing that his arms were made of stone, training with Zelkarune's Horns, then Kera Gosalar in Sunrise, additionally saving her from racist monks from the Scarlet Brotherhood, and so on. Y'know...
