Suggestions for new players

The other thread about one shot/convention modules got me thinking.

I am looking for suggestions for adventures to run for completely new players to D&D. I am hoping for a more roleplay oriented versus heavy combat since I need to educate as we progress, and combat will take excessive time. I also want to be able to give the players a sense of accomplishment after 4-6 hours of gameplay (I think that is the mental limit I could take them to for beginners).

Any suggestions?
