Seems we managed to get in on teh June weekend and didn't end up having to wait until the end of July (awesome)
The guys from my normal gaming crew were really happy with the session too, and now the convo is on how many more we can get into - so I call that a result.
Will be good to incorporate PFS play into our routine, fresh faces and fresh GM styles make things more enjoyable and prevent things getting stale.

I'll be looking to run a VTT game via http://roll20.net/ in August - Carrion Crown. Given that my work/life balance doesnt allow for Friday gaming with my normal crew, I'd like to get some Australians together to play over chat/VTT.
Still solidifying things on my side so not actively recruiting yet.

I guess I'm country then - it takes about 2.5 hours to get to Parramatta from Oberon. Drop by for a cuppa when you next come up to Jenolan Caves.
We have a regular group that plays in Bathurst or Oberon, just in case you're nearby.

Hi all,
I think I've found the right forum. I moved over from Europe not too long ago and I'm looking for a group located inner-west Sydney. Big fan of roleplaying and investigation, I've played a lot of old scholl D&D2 and Call of Cthulhu, but I'm told pathfinder is really good ! Can't play every night because of 2 young terrors at home but still enthusiastic to play every week. Cheers.

I'm in Melbourne, and frequently play and GM Pathfinder Society online and also play at Melbourne's three cons (Arcanacon, Conquest and Unicon, which, since I've started have always been set up by VC Stephen White).
If your remotely interested in playing online or in town, I'd recommend you check out both. Register an account on that site and you'll get invites to games.

Just under two weeks to go until Lissalapalooza and, with just under 70 registered attendees so far, we've now more players than Ruby Phoenix last Easter!
As previously advised, I've started some minor consolidation of the schedule, switching undersubscribed tables for more tables of popular options, such as The Disappeared, Tower of the Ironwood Watch, The Veteran's Vault, and Ruins of Bonekeep I: The Silent Grave.
Of the 106 game tables still available, 54 are now running, which is closing in on Risen Rune.
Of the 52 games still to reach the minimum three players, 28 need only 1 more player, 20 need 2 more, and 4 need 3.
Registration is on Warhorn (http://warhorn.net/shadowmoot) and you can join the Shadow Lodge community on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/shadowlodge) and Meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Shadow-Lodge).

Hey guys, any groups out there looking for a new player and possibly, if we gel, an extra DM?
Must be based in Sydney, preferably close to the CBD. I have played PF Society games but would prefer to join an established group.
Personally started playing D&D in 89 and have mainly been a DM for D&D (all versions), M&M (1st and 2nd editon), Earthdawn (1st edition), Shadowrun (2nd edition) and Star Wars (all version except the new one).
Really looking for a group that meets regularly and rotates DMs to maximize play and give the DMs a rest.
If interested drop me a PM

Sydney here, looking to get into a pathfinder game since my last DM dropped out due to RL stuff. All the DMs i've been talking to since then have simply vanished after initially expressing enthusiasm in getting a game started.
Preferably non-PF society, and looking to play onlien (i don't own a car, so meeting up IRL is going to be a huge problem since everyone is going to be spread out, or in other states).

If there is one, I don't know about it. I go to a fantastic game store in the CBD, it's just a 40-minute train ride for me. That's where I'll be playing Pathfinder, but I know nothing about this campaign other than that it's CRB only. Haven't even met the GM yet.
My gaming history is pretty bad, when you look at how long things have actually lasted:
-Played 3.5 in high school. Lasted two sessions before the DM changed schools, and later moved to Melbourne.
-After a 6-year gap, started playing 3.5 with my boyfriend, with a friend of his DMing. Then the DM's girlfriend left him, and he didn't want to play anymore.
-Started my own 3.5 game, running Legacy of Fire (we've just finished HotCK, but my players are driving me NUTS).
-One of the players turns out to be a crazy GM, so he invited me to his games - Pokemon Tabletop Adventures and an off-the-wall Pathfinder game, on alternating weeks. I was loving both, but then the GM's health took a turn for the worse, so he put all his games on hiatus.
-Game store in the city says they're looking for people to play in a Pathfinder game, so I sign up. I don't know whether it's PFS, an AP, homebrew, or what, but I'm looking forward to it. That starts on Wednesday.
I can't believe it, really. All those years I was looking for a game, and all I had to do was drop in at the game store I walked past hundreds of times on my way to uni.

Adelaide girl, born and bred. DMing my own 3.5 game in the northern suburbs, and about to join a Pathfinder game in the CBD, which I'm pretty nervous about. Seems I've had no luck with games in the past...
Are you still in Adelaide El Ronza or are you in Sydney?
Sometimes us Sydney siders forget other cities have a Northern Suburbs and a CBD. lol

On a side note Reebo, the PFS games are a great place to pick up a regular group - you get a try before you buy and everything! :)
Yeah I'm hoping to play at the Burwood one on Saturday, plus there's a group that meets at Parramatta library.
I just thought I'd try the boards again cause you never know who's looking.| Shifty |
I'd presumed the northern suburbs of Adelaide. I lived there long enough to know Adelaide was big enough to have multiple suburbs, but only just big enough :p
ElRonza surely theres a PFS group, if you check the PFS players guide there could be the details of an SA Venture-Captain... not certain though, so no refunds!

Just checked.
There's one for Wollongong, but not for Adelaide. Go figure.I'm an Adelaidian too.
