I understand that there's a new person on board doing the online supplements. I most certainly appreciate the fact that 129 is now available. That said, allow me to provide a couple of observations that may assist in crafting future supplements. The key is to compare 129 with past supplements.
First, the medium resolution supplement's picture quality is poor. In the past, medium resolution supplements still had clear maps and images. This one does not. In comparing the size of the 129 medium and prior medium resolution supplements, they aren't much different ... but I would say that they are different enough, with 129 being a smaller file. Perhaps saving the medium resolution as a larger file with more pixels, so it can possess the same quality as prior medium resolution supplements.
Second, the large resolution is HUGE. For those of us who save these on a PC, that's a lot of storage space. I'm not sure why the 129 large supplement is so much larger than past large supplements, but would suggest the file size not be so large. (Apparently, it doesn't have to be given that past large supplements rarely exceed 10 MB.)
Anyhow, I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. I think Paizo's providing of free online supplements is a great addition to gaming and certainly want to see it continue. I just thought Paizo might benefit from these observations.

I want to add to this. While I love these online supplements (they really add flavor to my game and I love being able to show my players the maps, 'almost' the way I see them), I don't quite understand why I have to wait for them for so long. I am using the fantasy grounds virtual tabletop, and it is great to get all these pictures and maps to share with the others (I don't have to scan them anymore), but I would like to be able to download the supplement the same day as I got the issue (issue 130)so I can use it ASAP, and I can't see why that should be a problem...
I hope you take this into consideration.

First: We're working on fixing the resolution issues and size issues with the latest online supplement.
Second: This has been covered in greater detail in other posts, but the short version of why the online supplements have been so late recently is the combination of staffing issues (we were short a graphic designer for several months and short an editor for much longer than that) and holidays (which take time away from the magazine schedules). In short: Less days to work on the magazine and less people to do that work = many tasks (like producing the web supplements or sorting through the adventure submissions) had to go onto the back burner and wait for an opportunity for us to have time to address them.
