What i learned from the sales numbers from november 2015 till august 2016:
RotR: AP #2 went from fewer than 250 to fewer than 100, #4 stayed at fewer than 100.
Less than 200 (mint) issues left.
CotCT: AP #10 went from fewer than 1000 to fewer than 500, #11 & #12 stayed in the same category.
Less than 2000 issues left.
SECOND DARKNESS sold so few copies, that of each issue 1000+ remain!!!
More than 6000 issues left!
LoF: AP #19 went from fewer than 1000 to fewer than 500.
AP # 20 went from fewer than 1000 to fewer than 500.
AP #21, #22 & #23 stayed in the same category.
Less than 2500 issues left.
Before i continue with the rest of the APs, a few thoughts:
Second Darkness won't sell out soon and won't be the next AP collected into a hardcover collection.
Legacy of Fire is doing ok and could get the hardcover treatment in a few years.

Kingmaker had less than 1000 NONMINT copies of AP #33 left in 2014 and less than 25 of AP #36.
All issues are out of print. If i were a betting man, i'd say we get a hardcover collection (with the improved kingdom and troop rules from Ultimate Campaign) by 2020. ;-)
I think a new kingdom-building AP, maybe set in Arcadia, would be a better bet.
Ooh, or a planet-building AP set on a remote moon for Starfinder!
If it's the rules/format that are popular, they'd make more money with a new AP using the same rules/format than reprinting an old one.

AP #38 stayed in the Fewer than 100 category.
AP #39 went from fewer than 1000 to fewer than 500.

Less than 1346 issues remain.
CARRION CROWN:
AP #45 stayed in the less than 500 category, AP #47 stayed in the less than 25 category.
Less than 523 issues remain.

Best selling is a little misleading , IMO. Leaving aside the fact they haven't all been in the market for the same time, they don't necessarily print identical numbers of APs.
I bet they printed more of the later APs than the early ones, for example.
It also wouldn't surprise me if they made some decisions based around which were "sure fire hits" and which were more speculative (granted they're not likely to print an AP at all if they judge it comes with too high a risk).

Yes, there's more to it than the raw numbers. For example, I'm old enough a customer to remember that AP #2 The Skinsaw Murders, or Pathfinder Companion Adventurer's Armory, got two print runs. That could explain why there are still copies around, when most of the contemporary releases have been unavailable for a while.
