I was so thrilled with the Darklands starter set that I ordered both this Darkland Perils expansion and the Fire Caves expansion. Both of them arrived today, and I have some concerns. This Darkland Perils set includes 24 tiles like normal, for a total of 48 images, all of which are gorgeous, but of these 48 images fully 20 of them involve lava/magma. Given that we have an entire other expansion set devoted just to magma & lava hazards in the Fire Caves set, I fail to see why it was necessary to devote so much of this one to the very same hazard. Many of those tiles could have been used for some other image...for instance, two of them (and only 2) have caves with mysterious crystal formations. Couldn't we have gotten more of those, or some other varieties of hazards, instead of so much magma? Also, two of these magma hazard images in the Darkland Perils set (tiles# 13A and 23A) have the EXACT SAME art. They're the IDENTICAL image. I suppose you can still set them end-to-end and use both tunnel sections, but this seems like a rather lazy move and your players will notice it. I'd rack it up to a simple error, but the VERY SAME THING happens in the Fire Caves expansion: tiles# 01A and 17A in that set are the EXACT same cave tunnel and the exact same pool of magma, duplicated on both tiles. Are these issues just a cost saving dodge? If so, it's very much at the expense of Paizo's customers. (That said, I *am* a Paizo fan and hope these issues will disappear in future releases.)
Since my group and i are stuck playing in virtual mode, i decided to get this set for my campaign and i'm very happy!
In this expansion, you have corridors and rooms with either lava, holes, rocks and crystals! Everything you need for an underground adventure!
There are a few tight corridors like in the basic set but, those with lava are larger...
I'll be getting multiple copies of this.
I just hope that the third expansions will be "Darklands buildings" and not "Darklands Vaults" or "Darklands Caverns". ;-p
Along with these I would LOVE to see a BIGGER Flip-map of a Drow city on one side (showing the insides of the buildings) and a druegar city on the other, also showing the inside of some of the buildings! Wall areas would be a PLUS!

Until Paizo produces one, check out this map set by Christopher West, who has done a lot of work w Paizo, especially back in the Dragon Magazine days - Maps of Mastery

Unlike the JPG versions of other Flip-Tiles, these ones have tile ID numbers (such as "DA101A") included on the lower left corner of each tile, which makes them less clean than the other sets you have thus far give JPG updates for.
