Key monsters and NPCs from the Hell's Rebels Adventure Path come alive on your tabletop with the Hell's Rebels Pawn Collection, featuring more than 100 creature pawns for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game or any tabletop fantasy RPG! Printed on sturdy cardstock, each pawn presents a beautiful full-color image of a monster or NPC from the Hell's Rebels campaign, including cultists, devils, hell hounds, and dozens of unique pawns also suitable for representing player characters. The Hell's Rebels Pawn Collection, together with the creatures from the Pathfinder Pawns: Bestiary Box collections, provides pawns for nearly every Hell's Rebels encounter. Each cardstock pawn slots into a size-appropriate plastic base from any of the Bestiary Box collections, making the pawns easy to mix with traditional metal or plastic miniatures. With tons of distinct images, the Hell's Rebels Pawn Collection brings to life the enemies and allies from all six adventures of the Hell's Rebels Adventure Path.

  • In Hell's Bright Shadow
  • Turn of the Torrent
  • Dance of the Damned
  • A Song of Silver

Hi Liz.

Is the lower price right?
The last 2 pawn sets were $24.99...

Nice! Preordered it tonight since I'm waiting for the pawns before running Hell's Rebels.

Will this include the bonus NPC collection released in the 100th AP issue? I loved the art for the goblin character.

Thx

Dark Archive

I'd still like that content list.
As i propably have 90% of the monsters as miniatures, i want to know what NPCs are in this and if the BONUS NPCS FROM ISSUE 100 are included.

Thx.

Can anyone who has the pdf tell me what's inside?

Thx

Marco,

I'm pretty sure Shensen will be a pawn. And of course Barzillai Thrune.

Dark Archive

Can anyone who has the pdf tell me if the bonus characters for all 18 APs are included as pawns?

Thx

Thank you, Brad!

You should get paid for doing paizo's work for them.

Looking at the names i count 71 unique characters from the AP.

This seems to be the set with the most medium pawns yet.

Yet the haven't included pawns for the 16 bonus characters which are all small or medium?

I am really disapointed in this product.

I will propably buy it nonetheless for all the NPCs, but would it have been too much to include the bonus NPCs from the first 16 APs?
I don't think so.

Eh, adding those 16 NPCs would have meant 16 fewer pawns of things that are actually in the AP. Since I'm running Hell's Rebels, I'd rather have the Hell's Rebels pawns.

Benchak makes an excellent point. Hell's Rebels NPCs are unlikely to show up anywhere else later down the line, so this is the product to get them, or not at all. But the bonus NPCs, for all we know, could come later in some Inner Sea NPC Pawns set. They are not Hell's Rebels specific, so they don't *need* to come in this one, they can come in some other product later on. But Hell's Rebels NPCs, they *have* to come here or not at all.

I don't know, there are quite a few generic monsters in the set which are already in the respective Bestiary boxes. I think they probably could have cut those out and put the extra characters in there. It's a bit of a lost opportunity.

Those multiples of pawns from existing Bestiary Boxes are because the AP has encounters that require more of that type of monster than the Bestiary Box provides. They're not included for no reason.

Most people buying this need as many pawns as possible to run the encounters in the game as written. They don't need pawns for APs they may never even run, many of which don't have their own pawn sets to begin with.

I think Paizo made the right call on this one.

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

That is not exactly accurate. I also have the RotRL pawns and we have things there like additional trolls, when the only trolls in the entire AP are in one adventure and in a number which already was in the Bestiary I box.

But let's go into detail, shall we?

- 3 Cockatrices: Need 3, 1 already in BB I.
- 1 Hellwasp Swarm: Need 1, 1 already in BB III.
- 2 Ningyo: Need 2, 1 already in BB IV.
- 2 Reefclaw, Need 2, 1 already in BB II.

I could go on, but this is getting tedious and I think my point is made. Paizo provided the exact number of pawns for each encounter they chose to support, regardless if the pawn was already provided in one of the Bestiary boxes.

Now, one could easily argue that "not everybody has all the Bestiary boxes", and that would be not a bad argument. I just recently got BB III and will probably get BB IV only when I get near to GM'ing Hell's Rebels (currently still on RotRL AE and then it's on to Reign of Winter by my players choice).

Still, those unique NPC's would have made excellent pawns to insert into the older AP's and it remains a bit of a missed chance to not provide these pawns.

Fair enough on the count. I assumed they did what they've done in the past and didn't count them out. My mistake.

Still, for all of these before the Skull & Shackles AP, why worry about having one unique NPC pawn, which may not even appear in the AP as written, when you have none of the others anyway?

Because it would be nice to have?

I'm sure those characters will end up in some upcoming Inner Sea Something Pawn Collection.

I'm very saddened to find that there are apparently no paper minis for the Hell's Rebels adventure path, leaving me with this not-so-great alternative. I suppose the paper minis were too good to be true, but it was something that really helped me DM with roll20.

Paper minis are not yet out for every older adventure.

They may still be made for HR, but it makes more sense to do them for older products and adventures that have no pawns at all.

This set contains 206 pawns if i counted correctly:

-35 small
-132 medium
-34 large
-5 huge
