I would endorse peterK's comments.

It is impossible to accumulate sufficient Purity or Glory within this adventure to reach the end quests; for example you can only accumulate 4 Purity as an Inquisition Member prior to reaching a quest which requires Purity 5 to embark on it. Needing 20 Glory for the final quest is quite simply not possible, unless perhaps you carefully read the Adventure 0, optimised your play through it, and then did the same for Adventure 1. Ludicrous.

This is a shame as the idea is a good one. However play testing seems to have been non existent, and the only way to play this module is to pretty much downgrade/ ignore the Purity/ Notoriety/ Glory pre requisites altogether if you're going to play through it.

Probably Broken

2/5

I enjoyed the mini campaign that came with the Avalon rules immensely and this one looked excellent at first glance. Unfortunately, my first, and likely, only attempt at this adventure looks like it's stalled very quickly.

Most of the quests are blocked and must be unlocked by amassing enough Glory or Notoriety. Unfortunately, the number of freely available quests is not high enough to allow an unlucky player to find some way of progressing. Deadlock at an early stage is not only possible, but is likely. There are 3 quests which reward glory available to a starting party. Two of them have a time limit. One of them can be quite difficult. Miss one of those, the game essentially is dead in the water. Same thing on the notoriety side. The first free quest which rewards notoriety requires the party of first level characters to defeat a nasty villain who can ignore the first 10 points of damage on each hit. It's suicide.

Also, the path towards the ultimate climax encounter is accessed via a puzzle. The module instructs the player to read an entry in the Puzzle chapter - which unfortunately is nowhere to be found. The puzzle itself is present, but I suspect that some instructions regarding the puzzles were carelessly left out of the product.

1 star base, plus a generous bonus star because there's still nothing else like this available for solo players and because this ruleset got me playing Pathfinder. I have a feeling this could have been quite good if only a few testers had been asked to play through it first.
