The quest cards sounds like a terrific innovation. I think the novelty of the item cards is starting to wear off with my players. The face cards are great though and I can really see the quest cards being useful given our gaming sessions are much shorter than we'd like - hopefully it will cut down on that "What were we doing again?" time at the start of each session.

Agree 100%. This looks like a great idea, a mix of items (becoming less interesting since there are so many sets now) and face cards (a real boon - I love these, as both sa player and a DM). Now with quest cards, this is a really great idea! You guys continue to innovate. I'm not sure if this idea could extend to a full AP - too many faces, items and quests? I know a set with quest cards would have been awesome for shattered star - keeping track of all those inside cover extras, or Kingmaker and the side quests. Shame we have to wait until July...

I'll probably end up buying this, but are these likely to be replacing dedicated Face Card decks? I love face cards, but I have no use for item cards and I probably won't be using the quest cards, either. I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't get any more dedicated Face Card decks.
Nope; we'll still be doing Face Cards now and then.

These sound neat and I am digging the intro to Dragon's Demand but I'd like to see if they're worth my while.
Yay!
Wait, that means I might be tempted to buy them.
I'm not at all certain my wallet can afford much more in the way of Paizo goodness...

Thank you, Liz.
It is the new quest cards that I am especially keen on seeing.

With the quest cards, how much harder would it be to run the module without this?
Not at all harder. The cards are not required for the module at all, they just provide players with a mnemonic aid to help them track down all the various loose ends and side quests. If your players are really clever with taking notes and paying attention, they're more of a friendly reminder/play aid than a necessity.
If your players aren't so good at that type of thing (or are more interested in combat than the story, for example), the cards will no doubt add a new dimension to play that will further immerse the group in the adventure.
But they definitely are not a required accessory to play the module.

ANy chance of a similar product for the AP's? The quest cards look like a great wayto track side quests and miscellaneous bits-and-bobs.
It's not likely. For starters, the nature of the product would probably require that all of the volumes are out, cross-referenced, and heavily notated. The result, I suspect, would be more than 55 cards, or maybe even more than 110 cards.
It would be a major, major undertaking and honestly I'm not sure it would be worth the effort, and by the time it would be done we'd already be almost done with the next Adventure Path, limiting our ability to take advantage of bundled purchases from players, retailers, and distributors.
I never say never when it comes to products, but this one seems to me like a longshot.

I feel like the quest cards will make the game more like an MMO.
They're optional and do not change the nature of the sidequests they represent. It's nothing worse than noting down on paper "we need to do this for so-and-so". But if the card format really screams MMO to you, again, they're optional :)

Yeah; just to reiterate the point... ALL of the quests in this deck are represented in the adventure, as are all the NPCs and all the treasures depicted. To the characters who are in Dragon's Demand, they won't notice a difference whether they're playing in a game with these cards or without these cards involved.
Your players will though. If they're the type who prefers to take their own notes or otherwise isn't a fan of using cards to track quests, NPCs met, and treasures recovered, then this product isn't for you.
Still, it'd be cool for folks to check it out if they get the chance! It's especially helpful, I suspect, in games that meet less often than weekly since the quest cards can serve as a reminder of what the characters are up to. They serve a similar purpose in that way to character handouts of in-world clues.

All the art on these cards reused from the modual or is there new art?
The art on the quest cards is all new. The face cards and item cards reuse are in the adventure. This may not always be the case, as other sets may have new items and portraits in addition to the new art on the quest cards.

I like the quest cards, although I think I'd prefer them to look more in-game, like wanted posters or notices tagged to a wall, or a hand-written letter, more the style of the side-quests in Kingmaker. Then, when I hand them to players, I'd be handing them what the characters are seeing.
EDIT: Like "Finding the Kells," but I guess that isn't appropriate for all quests.

So I usually only buy Pathfinder things from Paizo. But when picking up a gift for a friend in a FLGS yesterday and faced with the dreaded minimum credit card purchase, I looked around, and found this deck.
I don’t know what I initially read but I was under the impression it was just quest cards for some reason. What a great surprise to find out it’s everything in the module, quests, monsters, NPCs, and the equipment found therein. This makes it a nice complete package for running the module and is a great little add on. Well done mixing the cards up like this. I hope others in the new module line get the same treatment.

There is a fair amount of us who run these modules online. Having PDFs would be a nice addition for our campaigns and another revenue source for you.. Just saying :)

Believe me when I say that the thought often crosses my mind when I'm running games online to be able to use the huge plethora of item cards as handouts and props to be able to access them digitally. Unfortunately, it's not currently on our production schedule to do so. (Though I would certainly like them to be!)

Uh, thats what the all of the cards are for, I meant that it is only card in the deck that doesn't appear in adventure. There aren't kukris anywhere to be found

You'll find them in the appendix. The standard weapon for a grioth (p. 62) is a kukri made out of voidglass.
