I'm in Central too, but my posting times are random. I work at a job that does shifts. So some days I have all day off. Other days, I post morning + afternoon. Other days I won't post until late afternoon/evening. Other days I work 16 hours and you won't hear a peep :P

Moving this to the discussion thread since it's getting rather lengthy and isn't really related to the in-game events.
So do we each have our own xp counts? In which case do those of us who just entered the campaign start at 0?
If we have time to rest, I'd say that we should go back and deal with the plant.
It can work that way, and I think the RAW assumes that, but most of the GMs I know keep everyone at the same level for ease of play. I don't know anyone who would start new players at 0 XP (and thus level 1). That just wouldn't be sustainable in the long run.
That would be too complicated you all have the same Exp. Besides It's not really your fault you came later. Now if you character died and you were bringing a new one in. (I'll have to think about that)
Be warned, if you start a new PC at a lower level (or otherwise penalize them) each time they die, you risk creating a downward spiral of the weaker new characters dying over and over again because they are weaker. As above, that wouldn't be sustainable in the long run.
However, I would be wary about things like "gear bloat" and would have a deceased character's gear/wealth shipped off to distant relatives, or forced into the kingdom treasury as BP, or something similar. (I've not seen anything power up a party quite like them being able to keep all the dead guy's gear while also getting an influx of new gear with the new replacement character.)

Please let me know what changes you are making to your characters for your level up so I can adjust the PDFs appropriately.

My character, Riva Sarjenka, is taking another level of Arcanist. I will be picking up the Extra Arcanist Exploit feat and getting both the Dimensional Slide and Potent Magic exploits for her. Though I can't afford to do it just yet, I intend to retrain her See Magic exploit for the Quick Study exploit in the very near future.
For spells, she will be picking up both false life (which will be cast in advance each day before leaving her library) as well as see invisibility (the better to make those accursed will'o'wisps in hex I35 pay).
She will be putting a rank in all her non-knowledge skills that already have ranks (effectively maxing them out), and 1 rank into each of five of her knowledge skills (i'll get the other five knowledge skills next level). Because her linguistics skill goes up, she will also be able to speak and read/write Giant henceforth.
Her favored class bonus shall increase her hit points by 1.
She will now regularly prepare and utilize false life and silent image unless facing a specific challenge that will necessitate preparing something else.
I think that covers all of the variables. Let me know if I missed anything.

Let's move any further discussion about spell choices here, please.
Wait...so we are leveling up? I think I missed something
Yes, the XP we got from the boars put us over the next "level marker" allowing us to level up to 5th. You're going to want to take advantage of that before our next encounter.
+1 Evolution Point
--- -Ability Increase (Dexterity)

I once played a summoner with feather fall and a high strength eidolon with flight. I tied a sturdy rope/chain to the eidolon with one or more steps or benches at the bottom. Then I had the eidolon fly me around the battlefield. A rather interesting way to get around without having to worry about potential Ride penalties.
In a pinch, my eidolon could also carry other party members out of harm's way like a rescue chopper with a lowered ladder.
Something to consider. :D

Maermana, your PDF character sheet has been updated. Let me know if I missed anything. Your eidolon getting flight ought to greatly expand his role in the party. You may want to consider giving him some ranged weapons, even if he isn't proficient yet. Everyone should always have a ranged option. More so with flight.

Thanks!
I wish I had planned better. Could have picked a feat other than Weapon Prof and spent 2 Evolution Points on Martial Weapon proficiency to nap a composite longbow + greatsword so he could be all Solar-ish.

You can still pick up that evolution at some point, then have one of the martial characters in the party retrain your eidolon's feat (since they are higher level than your eidolon). It will take some time and gold, but this is Kingmaker, where both are supposed to be in abundance.

Valek's sheet should be updated now, though I'm left to wonder about the favored class bonuses.

parvusmachina |

I have a -1 Intelligence modifier that may be the reason for the low count.
Here they are:
Acrobatics: -2 (1)
Appraise: -1
Bluff: -1
Climb: -1
Diplomacy: -1
Disguise: -1
Escape Artist: -3
Fly: -3
Heal: +2
Intimidate: -1
Know Arcana: +4 (2)
Know Religion: +4 (2)
Perception: +3 (1)
Ride: -3
Sense Motive: +2
Stealth: -3
Survival: +2
Swim: -1

Toran Silvercloak |

Sorry, I've been pretty busy and haven't had time to update Toran's character.
His hp increases by 8 to 42 with the aid of his favored-class bonus.
He will take the Revelation Weapon Mastery(Halberd), which gives him Weapon Focus.
In addition, he will take the Divine Protection feat, which will increase his saves to 10, 8, 10.
His skill ranks will go as follows
2 into Knowledge(Religion), 1 into Diplomacy and 1 into Perception.
With regards to spells, what are your thoughts. I'm attempting to decide between Resist Energy or Spiritual Weapon.

Ravingdork |

Meant to say "should BE ready."
Toran, I think Spiritual Weapon better fits the image I have of your character. Also, you get a new 1st-level spell too. What do you want it to be?
Mallichatti, your sheet should be updated now too, let me know if I overlooked anything. One thing though, how do you have 60 HP? By my calculations, you should only have 50 before rage.
12 first level (12 = 12)
28 next four levels (7 x 4 = 28)
10 Constitution modifier (2 x 5 = 10)
50 TOTAL (12 + 28 + 10 = 50)
What am I missing?

Ravingdork |

Sorry Torran. I finished leveling up your character sheet some time ago, but I forgot to upload it. Should be available now.

In order for this hex to be clear you clear this area of nettles and will-o’-wisps (a daunting task) and manage to remove the tower’s eerie aura.
No one but wisps want to live in a place makes you shaken all the time.
Also I have found that hallow only suppresses the eerie aura. So if you do that you can claim the hex, but you'll lose it if you let the hallow lapse.
