Han Solo

3/5

The style of this character reminds me of Han Solo. Decent paint job. The swords break easily so be careful with it.

Love this one!

5/5

I ordered this especially, to represent my favourite PC, one I've been playing in one guise or another, one game or another, since I played Hero's Quest on the computer as a kid. It makes for a terrific swashbuckler, rogue, or other dextrous fighter. I haven't had the breakage issue that the photo model obviously had, though it did pop off the base when I tried transporting it in an Altoids box (just a hair too shallow) - easy enough fix, that. The paint detail on the face was great in my case, for which I am grateful.
I've used him in both my PFS and my D&D Adventure League games, and was happy to have him available for use when we got to the relevant part in a RotRL home campaign. He gets so much use, and is carried around so much, that I may have to touch up his paint job eventually.
P.S. If you want a passable invisible version, check out the HeroClix mini The Invisible Kid, very useful if you are in fact using him as a rogue PC.

Nice rougish figure

4/5

The paintjob leaves something to be desired (as mentioned there are things missing from the face) but the pose is cool and dynamic. Great figure for a rogue.

No paint on the face, but I still love it

4/5

Not sure if this was just the figure i received, but their was no paint on his face to indicate where the eyes were. This being said, that's my only real complaint. Otherwise the sculpt of this figure is amazing, and it be used for all sorts of pcs, such as rogues, rangers, hell I think it could even pass for a dexterous fighter. Perfect for any character who's going for the swashbuckler style. Also, even without the paint, you can still make out all of this guys facial features, which in my opinion, speaks volumes for the craftsmenship.

Liberty's Edge

I don't know what is with the picture of this miniature not showing the sword in the characters right hand, but it looks odd. I swear I've seen other pictures of this figure with two weapons, and the artwork of him has him with two. Is there a better or more updated picture of this figure somewhere that can replace this one to show him with both weapons if he has them? I know I have put off buying this figure simply due to it looking odd in the preview picture and I would bet I'm probably not alone.

I can vouch it does have two weapons, that was a picture taken during previews and the sword snapped on that copy.

Could use an update though.

I've put in a request to have this miniature's mug shot retaken. :)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yay! Best Ninja!

Liberty's Edge

Good idea, I took the advice that he does have two weapons and picked him up and have to say it was worth it (thanks Lorian!). It would be a shame if others didn't buy it simply because of a bad picture.

Glad to help Malith! He's debuting in my Runelords game later tonight :)
