A restful stay on an Arabian night with the Kobold!
Created for Kobold Quarterly #10 and in collaboration with Open Design, Rite Publishing and cartographer Jonathan Roberts bring you the Sand Dragon Inn.
The Sand Dragon Inn is know for its luxurious common room and beautiful mosaic courtyard, but it hides a dark secret. Under the Inn lies a network of caves - and the secret to the Inn's name. This map presents an exotic Inn, with common room, meeting rooms, courtyards, stables, store rooms and owners quarters. It can be used without the underground tunnels if all you need is an exotic Inn, or you can include the caves to open up a more sinister underside to this decadent waystation.
This map pack includes:
Multi-page PDF in US Letter and A4 formats that enables you to print out the maps for your gametable at 1 square = 1 inch. The PDFs come in both color and printer-friendly greyscale.
High resolution JPGs with and without grids for both the upper and lower level of the Inn, designed to be easily dropped into any virtual tabletop program, or printed to scale at your local print shop.
MapTool campaign files with vision blocking and light constructed for quick use in 4E, PFRPG, or any OGL game. They are compatible with Maptool 1.3b84 or newer.

This map comes in several pdfs: One for the upper Inn, one for the lower Inn. Furthermore, we get versions of the map in both letter and A4-formats (for Europeans like yours truly), as well as MACOSX-compatible versions, 4 jpegs of the map and map-tool files.
Lower Inn:
This pdf is 39 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page how-to-use.
First, we get a one-page full-color version of the map, then we get inflated versions of the maps in both grey-sacle and color, each taking up 17 pages. It should be noted that the bookmarks for greyscale and color have been switched in the A4-pdf, a minor mistake that is absent in the letter-format.
Upper Inn:
This pdf is 39 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page how-to-use.
First, we get a one-page full-color version of the map, then we get inflated versions of the maps in both grey-sacle and color, each taking up 17 pages.
Conclusion:
This is straightforward: The maps are a beauty to behold, you actually get two of them, support for map tool, both American and European formats for the maps - this file is a win. Due to the minor bookmark-error in the European version, I'll rate this beautiful package 4.5 stars.
I have a question about the use of map pdf's. After purchasing a map product from Rite can I use it with an online game hosted on Paizo forums? Using a linking feature to show parts of the map to the group as they explore. If I can use it that way, do I need to cite the copyright material? Thanks.
