Spent 4 hours at our old church cemetery, using a weedwhacker to clean up around the headstones. The church has been only doing basic maintenance.
Glad my oldest son helped for a couple of hours. We only got part of the north section done, so I have to plan some more trips.
This tree is bushed. Hehe.

My son's 9; he won't go see Prometheus with me because it's too scary looking.
WTF?

I got a buddy at work who's kid is the same way. Doesn't like scary or violent stuff.
Sounds like perfectly valid reasoning to me.

And that other guy... what was his name?

Watched an early Father's Day gift - Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows. Pretty good flick. I've always liked Robert Downey Jr.
Last night, I watched Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance via On Demand. It was...interesting.
And, of course, a bluray copy of that movie was also a part of my early Father's Day gifting.

I missed it too. Busy with other things. Oh well, I still have a backlog of reading to do.
gooooooood morning FaWtL
how is everyone?
rainy here, so no gardening :(
yesterday we framed some old photos of family weddings around 1910'.
they will go in the stairway next to the chased brass plates my father made as a young man, I had those framed years ago.
Holiday is getting nearer, slowly getting nervous
So... I'm still awake. I spent the last four hours on... I guess you could call it a date, via Skype. Maybe this is a thing? Hopefully? She lives four hours away...
Will today be the final encounter for Kingmaker? Who knows, I don't I have been expecting it for the last two weeks.
In other news, I have an upcoming move. It is to a bigger apartment. Hopefully the Wednesday Pathfinder game won't be so crowded. Unless I invite more people. Bad idea.
@E7, don't remind me. I have May's and June's subscriptions coming in this coming week. Too much to do until after the move.
*blink-*
Happy Fathers Day to those it applies to!
Time to celebrate with a trip to the dump! How quintessentially dad is that? Bonus dad points: I am picking up a load of municipal compost whilst there for my (non-edible) gardens. Dad score!

+1 to all of the Happy Father's Day wishes. Have fun everyone!
Twas an AWESOME weekend.
First, Friday, at the second job, I had a great time at work. It turns out that at the place I went to, the staff remembered me and my wife- she met up with me after work one day and she remembered her after all this time!!! I gladly got her and her coworker a cup of coffee, which truly ingratiated them to me and then she told me about the weekends events, one of which I may check out today. Then, later on that evening, not one, not two, but THREE girls in the club started dancing with/ON me! They were smoking hot with accoutrements to my taste, but I informed them that I was actually working, and they graciously released me from the SANDWICH they had danced me in. As if that wasn't enough, before the night ended I found TEN BUCKS on the floor of the club, and on the way home discovered that the local bodega was selling my all-time favorite drink- Taste Nirvana Coconut Water with Pulp- two for THREE DOLLARS. I bought six and went home a happy, happy man.
Then, yesterday was Kingmaker Saturday. The players brought over the most delicious ciabatta bread with polish sausages and so many, many cheeses and HONEY MEAD most of all. One of the players brought over some Fangberry Farms wine(white zinfandel) for another player who knocked up an NPC during game for Father's Day, which made us all laugh heartily. The party completed the rest of the first map, and decided to check out Candlemere Tower, an experience that almost cost them their lives and their sanity as . It had a few bumps as there was some confusion over house rules and arguing over alignment, but it was a satisfying night overall.
So, what happened here? I see few posts, are people prepping for Father's Day? Happy Father's Day btw, I need to call my own dad.
