Hello,

we are organizing our first pathfinder society event in a month and I goe the question if it would be legal for a sorcerer to combine the Sylvan and empyreal (both wildblooded archetype) bloodlines because of Crossblooded.

So the character would became a crossblooded sorcerer with the bloodlines sylvan and empyreal. I would allow it in a home game, but is it legal for society play?

What do you say?

I created a goodreads list for the pathfinder novels. so go there and vote on them.

If someone is in an AoE (let's say a fireball) that grants a reflex save and he is riding a mount. Does the mount get a seperate reflex save? Or does he the player make ride check (because his character is trying to steer the mount away). Or is the mount considered part of the primary reflex save the player makes?

all three these options seem logical to me.

I have a question about attacks of oppertunity with a reach weapon and a sneak attack.

If you fight with a reach weapon and someone comes up to you to make a sneak attack (because you aren't aware that that person is in the fight). Are you able to make a AoO when that person leaves your threatend square to enter the square near you to stab you?

it seems wierd that you would be able to make an AoO while you get sneak attacked because you are still considered flatfooted

In our game yesterday we came upon a discussion point concerning acrobatics and attacks of opportunity

This is the relevant ruletext

In addition, you can move through a threatened square without provoking an attack of opportunity from an enemy by using Acrobatics. When moving in this way, you move at half speed. You can move at full speed by increasing the DC of the check by 10. You cannot use Acrobatics to move past foes if your speed is reduced due to carrying a medium or heavy load or wearing medium or heavy armor. If an ability allows you to move at full speed under such conditions, you can use Acrobatics to move past foes. You can use Acrobatics in this way while prone, but doing so requires a full-round action to move 5 feet, and the DC is increased by 5. If you attempt to move though an enemy's space and fail the check, you lose the move action and provoke an attack of opportunity.

Situation

Base Acrobatics DC*

Move through a threatened area

Opponent's Combat Maneuver Defense

Move through an enemy's space

5 + opponent's Combat Maneuver Defense

* This DC is used to avoid an attack of opportunity due to movement. This DC increases by 2 for each additional opponent avoided in 1 round.

it was the last sentence that caused some confusion.

if you are in a position where you would provoke attack's of opportunity from three different enemies, and you use acrobatics to move without provoking the attacks. do you make three different rolles (one for each enemy), The dc on the first one being the first enemy's cmd, the dc for the second roll being the second enemy's cmd + 2 and the third roll the dc being the third enemy's cmd + 4 or is it just one roll against the highest cmd + 4 (+2 for every enemy after the first one)

Can a creature that is immune to magic (like a will'o wisp) ba harmed by magical weapons. I don't seem to be able to find a ruling on that.

Me and My roleplaygroup have decided to start a pathfinder campaign once our deadlands campaign is over.

And since I'm the dm of this group the task to choose a campaign falls to me. One of the options I was thinking off, was running them through the jade regent adventure path. Another is registering with the pathfinder society and running them through a campaign based on the society adventures. But my problem is: what adventures (pathfinder based, not the 3.5 based ones) would make a good campaign because I want a campaign that flows naturally, not one where they are in absolom and the next adventure takes place in the mwangi expense without much explaination.

so my question: what pathfinder society adventures would fit well together?

I bougth the pathfinder core rulebook yesterday, skimmed a bit through it and think it is very wel done. I even feel tempted to update my legacy of fire campaign to pathfinder rules. My party consists out of one rogue/fighter, one cleric, one fighter, one dragon shaman and one warmage. the dragon shaman does not need a lot of work to be made into a pathfinder compatible dragon shaman. but the warmage does have empty levels even after changing the feat progression. anybody has seen a fan written pathfinder warmage anywhere for me to review. because I don't really have an idea how to fill those empty levels

thanks in advance
