I'd definitely be in for at least $50, despite the fact (or perhaps because) I'm working on my own updated version of d20 Modern.

I'd have found it interesting to have been able to read a verbatim transcription of the interview; you wouldn't know if there's one around anywhere?

As far as I could tell, no one was recording the interview, and I was the only Press member there. Mike also did a talk on running classic adventures that I was not able to attend- if one of the other podcasters was there, it can sometimes take them a while to put recordings up.

...But while we're at it, I'll pimp my podcast interview with Mearls:

I am curious. How did you find this thread?
Thanks for the notes. I really found this useful in my decision making.

My blog stats package tells me the URL where people are coming from. Glad to help.

Since that was my page you linked to, lemme see if I can clear a few things up:

D&D Insider/Rules Database will give access to all the rules from every book. However, whether you're a D&DI subscriber or not you can buy PDF books just as you can now (though he said they'd be cheaper.)

And as far as the "no minis" thing in the basic set, the list does include Tokens, which is what I assume the replacement for minis will be. (2D cardboard or something with pictures on them.)

I may just be missing it, but in Erylium's chamber with the Runewell, there are two side doors marked "A" and "B" but I don't see any reference in the description to what's in them. Any idea? My players have now spent a lot of time in this room :)

Due to some last minute mixups, we ended up with a bit of an eclectic group:

Human Scout (Crossbow Specialist)
Human Fighter/Knight
Human Cleric (of Pelor, who came from far away and has already angered some in Sandpoint with his blasphemy)
Human Swashbuckler
and our favorite character name (and the only one I can remember right now):
Tumbledor, the Halfling Rogue

No arcane spellcaster has been a bit of a challenge for them so far. We stopped tonight after they lost to Erylium twice.
