Hi guys,
If I charge with rhino charge how much can I move with my move action?
If I go black jack fighter archetype for 2 levels and then at level 6 I go furious Guardian for 2 levels or eldritch knight? I can take the formal training at level 8 and select a team work feat ;as if I am a blackjack fighter.
If I have the tiger pounce style feat, pushing assault, power attack, and a two handed weapon in hand. Would this allow me to apply the penalty from PA to my AC with the weapon in hand?
If I also have the pushing assault Feat and a two handed weapon. When I attack after the attack roll but before damage is dealt I can choose to push them 5ft back. If I crit I can push them 10 ft back. And still deal all of my weapon damage with the attack. Is this correct?
If I bulrush someone into a wall what happens? If I also have greater bulrush would it provoke an AOO? From who? Can I hit them again? Once I hit someone and bulrush can I use the swift action (tiger pounce) to move 1/2 my move speed back to someone I bull rushed last round? What if I already moved up to my movement speed that round? Can I still move? Side question
If a monk is level 8 and he has the shielded style line, two weapon fighting, and shield slam.
Dose he still get the AC bonus from his wisdom And from the class ability while implying gauntlet style master? If he also has two weapon fighting and is holding a long sword in one hand.
If he is holding a long sword in each hand.
If he has the feat shield slam and I hit with the gauntlet while using Gauntlet Style master.
The 15 level two handed fighter ability greater power attack. I am trying to see how it works with my Titan mauler barbarian 3 lvls two weapon fighting. Do I still get the +2 and up it to +3. Or dose the ability just not work? I know backswing is a no go on double strength. With double great swords. But I can still wield them one handed.
If I turn into a whirlwind via master of storms. And then use my 15th level bloodline ability to turn myself in to pure energy. Do I turn into a thunderbolt and just use the bloodline ability doing my level in d6. or dose my whirlwind form become a thunder whirlwind and I deal the damage in a AOE? Also if I use thunder staff the first bloodline ability On my unarmed strikes before going into whirlwind form dose it still do the extra electricity damage on hit? Side questions.
If I got 2 lvls Titan mauler can I hold a Orc double axe in one hand and get the shield bonus? If Titan mauler treats a two handed weapon as a one handed weapon for all intents purposes. Dose that mean it would be a one handed weapon for a magus too? Beat rider allows me to "ADD" a select few companions to any list I may have access too. Dose this alter the animal ally feat? Or the cavalier( huntsmaster- archetype) with the dogs and birds. Dose the feat in anyway alter those class abilities to work with the new companions? And the most important question is can I put a ballista or cannon on the back of my turtle? You know exactly where I'm trying to go with this turtle. I may ask to many questions.
I have been wanting to play a character for a while but im not sure if the rule allow. With the new ruling on only the first attack during a charge getting the multiplier due to "pull back method". I started to think what if i threw the lances instead? Or throw one and grab another and stab with the momentum still behind me. I have been looking at a few threads on this and no one has giving a clear definition on yes or no. Could I do the following.
Say I start my charge and chose to throw a lance what would I be adding up? 16 str to start with. After I throw my first lance. I draw another; while still charging and throw another lance. What is my damage now? At this point I think I have one more attack left for high bab. I now charge into melee what is my damage now with a lance? This is my first melee attack.
I would really like to build a character that cannot be hit ( at least most of the time). Also while being annoying to the enemy. I have been looking up builds. and the abilities and feats that are popping out on all of the post are as follows: 1. mouser ( swashbuckler ), at least one level.
Lets say 1 level of mouser, 8 levels of monk to activate 3 styles as a swift action.
would a build like this work? or have i chosen to many style feats and not enough actual "to hit" feats.
Hey guys i was thinking of playing a boxer yall remember afro thunder!!
Dose any one know any strong builds that have a companion but dont necessarily, HAVE to HAVE them to function. I made a build that heavily relied on the companions. We just so happened to enter a big fight. with no companion I was worthless. I like balanced builds that rely on team work. but still be able to function on my own. the companion must stay on par with my character. but i do think that it was because of inexperience at the time. These guys are experience and have been playing over like 12 years or something like when they were little kids. they are laid back with a character dying. this GM has absolutely no qualm sending a pack of MONK GHOULS. you had to make 3 saves for one hit thank gawd i never dump con. they got a surprise round, killed the alchemist, 2 rounds later killed the wizard, im just flying on my bird like "yo I would help but the way my life set up." so I made my bird grab the cleric and dive bomb the undead with channel positive energy. while I shot my Bow. oh guess what CATCH ARROW! while the fighter tried to hold his ground eventually i got to the caster in the back. these guys had people who jumped up in the air and came down with charging damage. one guy only players undead, he was a wizard with a gun that shot spells from it. the other guy was a archetype from a old book TWF. I was shot in the neck by a slayer and died. I had to re roll and he dose not fudge rolls and rolls out in the open. they like high level play with big stats. what you working with:
QUESTIONS:
I have read the guides and still don't understand. I know that aasimars can get in to MT very early. And a oracle of wood would help. But I don't want to go wood for my revaluation. I want to go oracle after I take my levels in MT. Preferably a revaluation that gives me my cha to AC. I plan on going evangelist on top of MT if I have to wait. So I think the Aasimar is the best option for this. Be cause is read the guide for obedience as well. I want to keep the casting levels as close as possible if it is not possible then I understand. Not including the magical knack feat. I understand what it really dose the saves don't go up. I get it but I like to buff or area control. And with that I think this character can be pretty effective all around. Casting feats with a revelation that expands my melee prowess seems balanced and not overpowered. Thanks in advance for the advise.
So with a one level wizard dip you can still get the arcane bond ability to level based on a different caster level?
Can I put multiple alchemical creations in a back pack and throw it at an BBEG And have it work?
i came across trait that give you 3 weapon proficiency, a shield, 2 handed weapon and a ranged tripping weapon. now i have seen my fair share of strong traits but this could possibly get really really strong. once i reach level 4 with a animal companion for the +1 int. Can i give him the "extra traits" feat and take this? or an eidolon? then maybe go in to thunder and fang just for flavor. i know a eidolon or a monkey can use a weapon please dont bring that discussion up. if you want to know about it look it up. i just want to know is this possible so i can save feats.
Is this possible? im looking to reduce the coast of this item it seem way over priced. can you wear more than one. it only goes up to +5 from what i can read. also i am a huge fan of eldritch heritage all of my characters have this feat to give flavor. but i came across the arcane bond wording. can a caster of a different class take eldritch heritage feat, and use their spell list to enchant it. this seems to be a no brainier in my mind. a weapon that lets you cast a spell off of your spell list you dont have prepped and you can get cheaper enchantments. the item can literally be almost anything from the way i read it. can i have a grill ( gold teeth) lmao just to add flavor. or a Top-hat.
ive been looking through the classes. and it seems to me as though the "Best" seems to be the inquisitor. while maxing at 6 level spells their damage out put is pretty decent even with a dagger inquisitor i saw in a game. natural attacks seem to be a common choice for them and the BOW is insane on an inquisitor. just hit him and BOOM bane is a beautiful thing. so you can focus more on the character as a whole instead of DPS! add flavor with feats. but the most ridiculous one is the sacred hunts master. its a hunter with bane! FREE ANIMAL COMPANION. and you still get a DOMAIN!!! you can be a healing inquisitor. not as effective as a cleric but it will get the job done. but i think they are best in the DPS ROLE. i am a huge fan of multi classing but this class dose not seem to be a good option for it. unless you go zen archer. how would you build and inquisitor? race, feats, ability scores, multiclassing dips, flavor, traits. how did you build your inquisitor? the evangelist is looking pretty good. buff my companion then copy it! and his favored weapon is a BOW. he likes staggs. i dont know the god.
If I have a animal companion with these feats and evolution points . If he runs out 10' bites the enemy.
The enchantments that's don't have a +1, +2, ect... Can I put as many as I want on my armor or weapon?
Blood hunting, can I just walk up to the table and be like "I have a blood hunting ALL WEAPON!"
THE KLAR!!!!
What's your favorite new weapon enchantments? if you haven't looked at the new ones you really need to. On the D20 site in the blue column.
i was looking for a charater to build that could help at long range. So i thought of having my charater use a cannon. but those feats suck and wont really help in a real battle like in a castel room. i saw the arcane bond ability and i can get it at level one wizard or the eldritch heritage feat (arcane). "Wizards who select a bonded object begin play with one at no cost. Objects that are the subject of an arcane bond must fall into one of the following categories: amulet, ring, staff, wand, or WEAPON. These objects are always masterwork quality. Weapons acquired at 1st level are not made of any special material. If the object is an amulet or ring, it must be worn to have effect, while staves, wands, and weapons must be held in one hand. If a wizard ATTEMPTS TO CAST A SPELL WITHOUT HIS BONDED OBJECT WORN OR IN HAND, HE MUST MAKE A CONCENTRACTION CHECK OR LOOSE THE SPELL. THE DC FOR THIS CHECK ISEQUAL TO 20 + THE SPELL'S LEVEL. 1)Say if im an inquisitor with the eldritage heritage( arcane) would it effect me if i dont have the weapon in hand for my spell list? 2)WOULD THIS MEAN I COULD GET A LARGE SIZED double hackbutt ( FOR FREE!!!!)? even if i dont have profencicy and cant carry it? if i cast elarge person on myself then i would beable to use it "if i had profencincy".
hey guys, I have been trying my hardest to combine the Ghoul and Orc sorcerer bloodlines. but while still being human and being able to take the amplified rage team work feat. I wanted this for my blood conduit blood rager then go into dragon disciple. thing is you can only take Eldridge heritage once and I am a human. but i need to be orc for the amplified rage team work feat. if i take one level sorcerer and get the orc blood line would getting "Bloodline Arcana: You gain the ORC subtype, including darkvision 60 feet and light sensitivity. If you already have darkvision, its range increases to 90 feet. Whenever you cast a spell that deals damage, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled."
and with this one level dip i would have a separate spell list. that is that of a level one sorcerer. By having 5 levels of blood conduit i would have a another list of spells that i can cast So with 5 levels of blood conduit and 1 level sorcerer and 2 levels dragon disciple. level 2 bloodrager spells, with its own number of spells
or would the charts just continue as they are on the class list?
is it possible to go 2 levels alchemist and get the Vestigial Arm (Ex) discovery. then go one level titan fighter and get the ability to duel wield two large sized two handed weapons? at a -6 to hit with the two weapon fighting feats? and then eventually at -4 for each with a few more levels of fighter?
the teifling has this as a trait they can choose to roll from. what dose this mean?? how would this be used? i thought of the titan mauler but he can wield a two handed weapon one handed im not sure if he can use a large size bastard sword. would this trait allow me to negate the penalties from wielding 2 large size bastard swords? or a nodachi and a huge sized light pick = a scythe? would this negate all the penalties and give me a -2/-2? or would the light pick for encumbrance be still one handed for me with this trait? why would you play a titan mauler if this trait exist? or why not just always go one level dip in titan fighter now? and take adopted then get this.
Is the damage from elemental fist precision damage or weapon damage? Would it multiply on a critical? The bleed damage from boar style would it damage an undead? I have read the forms and some are iffy on it. Would dragon style and horn of the Criosphinx deal 2.5 str on a charge? Would you consider dragon ferocity the must have style for a fighter/brawler to have? With a 2 level dip in monk to have 1.5 str to unarmed attacks? It would solve the damage problem for TWF over coming DR.
Ok so I think this is the best weapon because. It's reach, x3 crit, and when on a mount deals double damage, with a respectively decent d8. Don't you use a mount to travel in just about every campaign? If your a martial without pounce get that double damage on a charge especially if your bab is under 6. That's 2 attacks with out having to worry about a lower hit chance. And in a surprise round a reach weapon can stop them from hitting you tho you need combat reflexes ( your a martial what don't you have it ). Would you also consider this a must have weapon for a martial class at lower levels?
umm can i actually do this at level 5. and take armor expert and get a mithril chain shirt on him? and traits like fates favored, unstable mutagen? Adopted: earth sense, my fav Numerological Gift, and the like? could he get any trait he wanted? but really i just want to know will the mithril chain shirt work with the armor expert trait.
I have been doing a bit of research on line and I fount the thing that keeps rogues on par with barbarian as far as DMG. Sneak attack+TWF VS str 1.5, seems to be the argument. But what if I could get both? I have read that DR is the issue with unarmed combat until you get AOMF. But if I'm dealing 1.5 str will it still be an issue? Also would I still need pummeling style if I have dragon style with 1.5 str and sneak attack? Is it that good? I like dragon and snake, dragon and jabbing, dragon and boar (but animal can intimidate) in the build. The build is a 2 level dip from monk and the rest slayer. If you could help and switch feats of advise for ability scores 20pb. And feats are better if you think in that area. I have the wolf for free trips and a reliable flanking partner. He also is a intimidate specialist for that extra -2 for the enemy. And I know there is a feat that dose something for a foe being shaken or frightened. Also how would believer's boon work with war blessing? Monk of the iron mountain/ MoMs-2, slayer 18
M1. Natures soul, IUAS, pummeling style, stunning fist,
Wolf ( irous )
1. Weapon focus: bite
At level 4 you can bump int to 3 and take the feat. How would you build it?
And would it deal the weapons damage or the size of the weapons. I was thinking about just letting him throw chakram or javelins. But what would the damage be? Large size chakram dose 2d6. I think it is a one handed throwing weapon. But if I have the two handed thrower feat I have to make it one more size larger to get the 1.5 str.
this may seem weird but how would a
i know the fitst attack is at x2 str, x3 damage, roll the damage die twice. but could you pummeling and pounce?
Destructive Smite (Su): You gain the destructive smite power: the supernatural ability to make a single melee attack with a MORALE bonus on damage rolls equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1). You must declare the destructive smite before making the attack. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. Community-Minded
Would destructive smite last for 2 more rounds? I am considered my own ally. I'm not sure if optimistic gambler would work.
1) Can Still take this feat if I have one level in DD? 2) if I all ready have this feat for say arcane dose it become draconic? 3) will DD level my other blood line if I have cross blooded archetype Ex: level one Orc blood line (touch of rage) can I select that instead of the dragon claws. Or strength of beast at 9th level. |
