I thought that's what pathfinder was all about.

@RedDogMT - The part about wielding the lance in one hand isn't what we're interested in here. The lance is entered in the weapon tables as a two-handed weapon, normally. We idling it from the back of a mount allows a special case where it can be used as a one-handed weapon instead. We are fully capable of throwing it with one or two-hands, regardless of this line. We're more interested in the part about *using* it from the back of a mount.

@alexd1796 - It's not the fact that it's a throwing weapon that doubles the damage, it's the language specifically surrounding the lance as a weapon. We've already outlined feats, such as Charging Hurler that allows you to make a thrown attack as part of a charge, so you are indeed making charge attack with the lance from a mount when throwing the weapon (in a completely legal fashion). The question is whether or not it retains its lance double-damage property, because we are indeed meeting the criteria of a lance charge when throwing it. This whole theory revolves around the fact that the lance doesn't very specifically state that you must make a *melee* charge attack to achieve the bonus damage.

hey, i was reading the combat feat butter fly sting. it says that you have to worship a good deity. dose that mean you have to still be within one step? or can i be chaotic evil and still get this feat? if i can take it as a combat feat this would greatly improve my TWF scythe build.

2 levels titan mauler barbarian/ X- slayer

if i am wielding a nodochi and a scythe. if i crit with the nodachi ( i am considered my own ally. can a auto crit with my scythe ( provided i have another attack)? is this cheese? or am i fully within the rules.

hi,
i am in the kingmaker campaign and we have just killed the staglord whipped the floor with him and his goons. but i have been looking over the kingdom building process and it seems really all over. he wants us to use the ultimate campaign book instead or the kingmaker book we have 50bp that i can see in the book. I was wondering:

1) what would be the first buildings?

2) how many bp should i leave open?

3) all of the leadership positions are already full.

4) I know to build a farm every time i expand. and i have seen to expand with a black market and 2 houses.

5) should i build all of the roads? and farms before expanding?

6) how many bp should i be hovering?

7) i read the guide and it doesn't say not to spend all of the bp or how many i should hover.

i just want a little understanding of what a build should look like for say the first 5 turns. and what to do during them.

Mark i have a suggestion for a future book! For a while now people have been trying to combine familiar / animal companion / leadership cohort (our variations of these) into one creature.

However it either falls short or it's overpowered. Would you consider tackling this concept in a future book?

When i look at the synergist witch i see the potential foundations of combined creatures... You could have a synergist type of build where the character absorbs all these creatures within herself of you could combine familiar/ac/cohort into one separate creature by working out an "equivalent CR" formulae... etc.

That would help speed up the game too...

You are a man man. That creature would be stronger than a min/maxed fighter

If you take one level of druid and then retrain it. Would you still know Druidic?
