See I thought it would be a little too overpowered to do it that way too. I just redid the character as a cleric with a couple nature domains. That way I could still use the stat bonuses I'd given the race and keep the principle idea behind the character. I had already had to negotiate the base speed of the character with my dm so I didn't really want to ask for more. I'll just not be able to play this as a druid then.

Would that have to gm approved or could I just make it up that way with no rules backing it?

Ok, here's my problem.

I invented a plant based race using the rule builder rules in the Advanced Race Guide. Being a plant gives a whole bunch of immunities right off the bat. One of them is immunity to polymorph. I'd originally envisioned this race being primarily rangers or druids. I figured nature based classes make the most sense for a plant person. I have gotten the go ahead to play a character of this race and went to start building a druid of this race when I ran into a snag. The druid's primary ability, Wild Shape, is a polymorph.

So does this mean I can't use Wild Shape if I'm a plant? The rules don't address this. If anyone knows for sure please let me know.

Thanks!
