Background: Growing up in the backstreets of Magnimar, in the Varisian slums no less, isn't an easy life. It is, however, made a little simpler when one has a cheerful disposition, is somewhat easily duped into doing what those in control want, and finally when one is rather large. Though not especially tall (5'11'), Zoltan Ceausescu grew into his full 300 pounds by the time he turned 20. Although full-blooded Varisian, he began training early with a Shoanti Pit-Fighter barbarian living in the city. Throughout his young adulthood he vacillated between heeding his family's warnings against involvement with Sczarni and peripherally doing just that. As he would never fully commit to helping the Sczarni, he instead made a living in the carnivals, showing off feats of strength or engaging in showy gladiator fights. Not to be denied, the local Sczarni Pathfinder lodge liaison arranged for a Tian monk wanderer in the area to challenge the brash young Zoltan to fight: 500gp's vs. a bond of servitude to the liaison. Cocky after a string of pit fight victories, the warrior accepted and was promptly crushed. Varisian honor held him to his word, and he packed up his possession and came to the liaison to discover his assigned tasks.

Personality and appearance: Bald, tatoo'd, stocky and almost all muscle, Zoltan is hard to miss. Likewise, his booming voice and backslapping, cheerful demeanor can be infectious. A dedicated follower of Cayden Cailean, Zoltan enjoys his alcohol and is known to imbibe his share of booze and more.
