About Ziggy'

Physical Appearance:
Ziggy is a tall, handsome aasimar with dark hair, tan skin, and eyes that look like orbs of pure amber. He is about 6'1 and has broad shoulders and a lean muscular body. He wears all white, priestly-looking clothes that are modified for practical adventuring, as well as different pairs of gloves typically either tight fitting leather or silk. Ziggy's angelic heritage is pretty obvious, even if he weren't clearly not trying to hide it; with his black hair that is reflective of light at the right angle, his eyes, and his unnaturally pleasing body symmetry being the most apparent, while it also comes across in exceedingly unusual and subtle ways. He also has an intense stare and tends to radiate an aura of whatever he's feeling, generally benevolence with a sense of otherworldly presence, or for those he doesn't trust, general suspicion with a sense of otherworldly foreboding. He is lightly armored with a wooden shield but does not carry any weapons; not even a dagger.

Personality:
Ziggy is generally a beacon of healing and goodness, and is an exceedingly kind and gentle human being. He tries to be a pacifist as much as he can, but being a pathfinder doesn't make that easy. Since it is his duty to protect his allies, he is generally forced to hold their lives above all others even when he'd rather see all lives of equal preservation.

He can also be consider kind of a flower-child, with a slightly naive view of humanity. Though obviously not upfront about this belief, it is somewhat perplexing that it persists after so many years as a Pathfinder in both training and fieldwork.

Ziggy had a somewhat easy childhood, because most people loved his company and calm demeanor, and felt blessed by his presence. This often lead him to garner much more attention than he really deserved; his two older brothers hate him to this day for that reason. Ziggy tries to visit his family is Varisia, Magnimar in specific, as much as he can, typically when he is there on Pathfinder business. While visiting he stays with one of his younger siblings, who accept him and take pride in his angelic nature and chosen line of work, though they rarely restrain themselves from talking him into favors that involve his rough adventuring skills or his uncanny ability for high-level/high-risk diplomacy.

Ziggy does understand that there is trouble and pain in the world, and that is why he has dedicated himself to doing what he can helping people. Although he has seen his fair share of grisly physical injuries, Ziggy doesn't truly understand the depths of human suffering. Being a Pathfinder opened his eyes to this somewhat.

Destiny:
Ziggy has a destiny before him, though he hardy has any clue what it is; only a vague idea of its existence. His hints take the form of particularly vivid dreams to go to specific places, including a vision standing in front of the Grand Lodge, this being the dream that led to him becoming a Pathfinder. Besides his ambition to help people, he has very little drive to actually go anywhere in life, and usually lets himself act at the whim of others... or at the dictate of his previously mentioned dreams/premonitions. He is also overly-reliant on strange infrequent urges towards action/non-action, the biggest experience that founded this being the result of his Blackened curse.

While he is an Oracle, Ziggy has absolutely no clue what deity grants him his abilities, thus, he is poly-theistic. He suspects Desna due to the dreams, but only vaguely; the possibility of his patron is extremely wide, and he will discover in time that it is one he never would have expected.

I retired Ziggy. He has left the pathfinder society in disgust of it's amorality. Ziggy wants to do good in the world, and the pathfinder society far too often oversteps it's bounds and hurts innocent people. To remain faithful to the character, I reasoned that he wouldn't be interested in serving the society anymore.

I have considered bringing Ziggy back into Society play under the assumption he received a rousing pep talk from Venture Captain Ollysta Zadrian(after reading his resignation) that the Society should get a third chance.... I mean think about it; that lady's diplomacy must be insane by now.
...Also under consideration, it IS part of Ziggy's story that he WILL be guided back to Absolom, and he will likely have the same misinterpretation he had the first time; to join the Pathfinder Society. Perhaps he joins up again after a hiatus.
