Ziggy is generally a beacon of healing and goodness, and is an exceedingly kind and gentle human being. He tries to be a pacifist as much as he can, but being a pathfinder doesn't make that easy. Since it is his duty to protect his allies, he is generally forced to hold their lives above all others even when he'd rather see all lives of equal preservation.
He can also be consider kind of a flower-child, with a slightly naive view of humanity. Though obviously not upfront about this belief, it is somewhat perplexing that it persists after so many years as a Pathfinder in both training and fieldwork.
Ziggy had a somewhat easy childhood, because most people loved his company and calm demeanor, and felt blessed by his presence. This often lead him to garner much more attention than he really deserved; his two older brothers hate him to this day for that reason. Ziggy tries to visit his family is Varisia, Magnimar in specific, as much as he can, typically when he is there on Pathfinder business. While visiting he stays with one of his younger siblings, who accept him and take pride in his angelic nature and chosen line of work, though they rarely restrain themselves from talking him into favors that involve his rough adventuring skills or his uncanny ability for high-level/high-risk diplomacy.
Ziggy does understand that there is trouble and pain in the world, and that is why he has dedicated himself to doing what he can helping people. Although he has seen his fair share of grisly physical injuries, Ziggy doesn't truly understand the depths of human suffering. Being a Pathfinder opened his eyes to this somewhat.
