Zadim has a blowgun and little else. After all that healing, I’m again approaching death. And there are no more henchman in the Graveyard, so someone has to get through 3 more monsters. I’ll see how things stand next turn, but I’m likely to go looking for adventure elsewhere. The Graveyard has been absolutely brutal to Zadim.

So far, so good. And now the tough Combat check. I’ll recharge my whip to get sneak attack.

Defeated. But there are too many cards left to close the location. And now I get the free damage.

I recharge my Stalking Armor to reduce damage to 0. Discard Silver Balladeer to explore again.

Explore 2: Encounter Unseen Sentinel. This dude is bad news. I can’t make the Perception check and using my Gem of Physical Prowess is too risky—if I fail, I’ll have to discard my weapon. So I’ll just discard the Gem for the Force damage. (More free damage, how fun.) And I’ll reload my rapier and look for some help against the Combat 14. Varian has Vencarlo and Koren has Mountain Man, both of which could be used after the check if I fail.

Close, but that’s all I need. And whew. My hand is empty, thus my turn is over.
